Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceWe arrived early, and were able to leave our backpacks before hiking to Delphi. The room was great, clean, big, the host was super nice, the village is adorable and calm. We had breakfast down at the husband's café, and for five euro, it was super generous and good. It's possible to hike to Delphi if you don't have a car, there is a roman path, it takes about an hour and a half and offers amazing views. The next day we were able to hike through the olive Grove all the way to Ita.

ArgentinaAbsolutely nothing. Just take care to not drive around the town too much because the roads are not wide. Try to go down the route and enter the lodging through the town in a straight line. Don't mind what Google tells you, his shortcuts are unwise. If it ain't a straight line keep looking!
It is an all around wonderful place to stay. Great views, great breakfast, lovely place, warm and committed attention from the host, great aromas from the lemon and orange garden, did I mention the views? and a fantastic little town to stay in.

United KingdomVillage dogs barked in the night on our first night there. But all in all nothing to criticise.
Location was superb, with view over the village to the sea, and a balcony to enjoy it. Room simple and comfortable, host Saphira was wonderful - warm, hospitable, helpful and she served us delicious breakfasts personally. We were 7km from ancient Delphi, which was perfect, and we went on a lovely walk up Mount Parnassus. Also 7km from the coast, with swimming and restaurants galore.

Location: convenient and quiet. Owner: very kind. Food: orange juice from garden was great. View: amazing. This place is beyond expectations. We were so glad we stayed here the first night we got to Greece. The quiet village life helped us relax from our long flight from the US. Waking up to see the stunning view of ocean and mountains and the village was priceless experience. We also strolled in the village and loved it so much. We have to come back and spend more days here just relaxing!

FranceDecoration is basic and unfortunately we could not use the fireplace.
Nice quite village not far from Delphi. The rooms are very clean and warm, and the kitchen is well equipped. But i think in summertime it should be nice as there is a nice terrace with a valley view. We did not take the breakfast, so i can not evaluate. In general a pleasant stay.

Absolutely amazing place. We have selected this hotel because of the high rating and good price and everything is as it was described from the other guest: For the cold weather outside hotel was warm and clean, view is marvelous and owner was more than welcome. This is your place if you like hospitality and stay like in home.

United KingdomWe had to unplug the fridge in the room during nights as it was rather big and we did not use it, so that it was quieter without it. The shower was very small but not uncomfortable and we still had a great stay.
The location of the village was perfect for exploring Delphi and the surrounds. We were on a tight schedule and had just one full day for exploring. Zafira, the owner, was happy to prepare breakfast for us for 7am. This meant that we could be in Delphi for 8am to see the ruins and the amazingly well designed museum, then see Arachova and have lunch in one of many good restaurants, and then head for a swim and have dinner in the beautiful town of Galaxidy. Our day could not have been more perfect and beautiful and this was only possible because of the location and our early breakfast. It also meant that we could be in Diakopto to catch the first train to Kalavryta without getting up earlier than usual. The town itself is not really touristy, unlike Delphi or Arachova, and we had one of the best meals in Greece there, while dining Al fresco under a beautiful ancient tree of the main square. The views from the hotel were stunning and what a start to the day :-) The village, the hotel, and the room were all very pretty leaving great memories.

We booked only one night but could have stayed for so much longer indeed!!! Comfortable beds, a huge room, a balcony overlooking the sea. Definitely something you should consider if you look for a quiet spot with little to no tourists instead of crowded Delfi.
