Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe bathroom is tight (and we are both of slight build), so took some getting used to… Nowhere to boil water and no sink plug. The 10 Euro breakfast is meagre: better to enjoy the strong coffee at the station buffet. Next time we would pay a little more to avoid some of the back streets of this area.
Very close to Athens Gare Centrale so all places we needed to go were easily found by metro. The hotel is well presented, maintaining a charming art deco feel. The room had a small balcony and fresh air with comfortable bed.

United KingdomBreakfast was a slightly odd experience- the place was completely deserted, there was cold coffee and some of the yoghurt seemed to have gone off... The area around the hotel is okay, not the best place to be alone at night but there were no issues with the hotel itself.
The place was comfortable enough for a short stay with the room being big enough and comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

United KingdomWould not recommend for a longer stay as the place is a bit rundown. My room was situated near reception and therefore quite noisy.
Ideal for a one night stay as close to Larissa station.

Poland- shower really small, only recommended if you like to have a curtain sticking to you all the time. Or maybe should I take a shower without the curtain? - the shower gel and a soap should be always included. Otherwise (like in this case) I need to buy it and leave it there, and probably somebody will just throw it away. I cannot take this stuff with me on a plane (100 ml limits).
- good localization - good enough Wi-Fi - working AC

Czech RepublicSome rough lighting instalation in my room. Wanted to turn on the lights by the bed, only to discover they are just lopped of cables sticking out the wall. OK, they were isolated with taped, but still.
Conveniently located near Larissa metro and train station. I was worried there will be a lot of noise from the trains, but I heard none. The house stands out because it looks a lot nicer than the surroundings, which is a plus.

ItalyThe door lock did not work, and when I communicated this to the staff at the front he told me "don't worry, it's safe for you", which was surely nice to hear but certainly didn't fix the problem. I kept waking up at night with any noise.
The room and bathroom were very small, but as I was alone it was not an issue for me. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Staff was always present at the front.

AustraliaWhen I arrived to the front desk for check-in I was greeted by a woman that sorely lacked customer service skills. She showed no patience in dealing with a foreigner in a foreign language (English). She also disliked questions. She made me feel very unwelcome (the following days her mood seem to have improved, she even greeted me once in my own language, which is not English). This is in sharp contrast to the other person that was sometimes at the desk, an elderly blonde lady with black glasses, who always had a smile and was very polite. Also, the lavatory was leaking, did not bother complaining given previous experience, but they fixed it a few days after I arrived. There was some cigarette smoke getting into the room, but it seem to be coming from the balconies of neighboring buildings.
Excellent location, close to a metro station and a supermarket. The neighborhood was fine, lots of graffiti on the walls but never had any issues with the locals. The staff was polite (with one notable exception). The room was clean. It was exactly what I needed for my holidays.
