Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAsked the bartender at the pool if I could charge a drink to my room. His response was no. I only asked because I had left my credit card in the room and didn’t want to go back downstairs. It was inconvenient that’s all.

ArmeniaOn checkin, one of the available bathrobes (eventually washed beforehand) still smelled with a very strong perfume of a previous guest. Actually this could NOT be a fault of the hotel. This perfume (apparently Orto Parisi’s Megamare) is a dangerous niche liquid that sticks to any garment like forever. I presume, this particular bathrobe should discharged forever 😉 Double rooms do not have separated beds. Two beds are just attached to each other. For business travelers who could stay as friends in one room but prefer beds separated, this is not very convenient.
Good location. Nearby there are good restaurants. Very friendly staff.

IrelandNothing really, it met all our expectations and we would highly recommend it. Great selection of restaurants just around the corner.
Very clean hotel, excellent value, good location (about 20 minutes walk to Ermou Street (central shopping area in Athens). Beautiful rooftop pool, plenty of space, amazing views. Breakfast had something for everyone, and plenty of it. Highly recommended.

United KingdomNo iron provided which can be limiting if, like me, you are stopping over en route from an 8 day holiday. I had to pay 13 euros for 1 item of clothing to be ironed although it was an express service which was greatly appreciated as I needed the outfit for an event that evening and the hotel laundry service is usually overnight. I also could not get comfortable on the twin bed, and found the mattress a bit too hard for me. Some others might like this level of hardness but not for me. However, the sheets were cool, clean and comfortable as expected for a highly rated hotel. I would certainly recommend a stay at this hotel and definitely for more than 1 night to maximise your stay fully.
Lovely stylish & modern hotel in a great central location with easy access to the metro station and the Hop on Hop off bus stop A8 was just 5 minutes walk up the road which was very convenient as I had a day ticket. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, especially at the bar and restaurant. I must also mention Maria (housekeeping team), who was excellent and very attentive to the needs of guests. I needed some urgent laundry services, which she carried out promptly and efficiently. The room was a great size and modern with a lot of natural light through the large wall to wall window. Although I did not get the views I was hoping for of the Acropolis. I should ask next time! The bathroom was also a good size with all the necessary essentials, including a bathrobe, slippers, and toiletries. I especially liked the added magnifying mirror, which could be adjusted for personal use. Great for applying make-up in the absence of natural lighting. Great for anyone shaving, too! The large, well decorated bar area was well decorated and had a variety of hot and cold drinks on offer. I loved that I had milk options for my coffee at the bar and at breakfast. The bar staff were also lovely. The pleasant young lady, whose name I forgot to ask, was very welcoming and helpful and went the extra mile to find me an adaptor for my phone charger. Excellent customer service. The other lady at the bar also managed the breakfast area the following morning and was very polite and efficient, along with the rest of the breakfast team. The quality and variety on offer at the breakfast buffet was very good, although some might find it a bit pricey at 32 euros. However, it is a high-end hotel in a major tourist destination, so the price is to be expected. As I was there for 1 night only, I did not get the chance to explore this large hotel and use all the great facilities on offer, including the fitness centre and spa area. Well worth a return visit!

United StatesSpa was nice but a little overpriced. Not the properties fault, but was difficult to get around the city by taxi, and due to the location of the property, we needed to use taxis to get to the places we wanted to visit. At times we had to walk instead of taxi-ing, which was quite unpleasant in the heat (38+ C).
Loved the rooftop pool and the staff was kind. Felt very safe and was easy to relax at the pool. Great water temperature and great service poolside. View of the Acropolis at night was stunning, but felt a bit far away in the daytime.

United KingdomCouldn’t fault anything.
Lovely spacious hotel. Lobby porters available to help you on arrival and departure. Large reception foyer and lots of space in restaurant and lounging areas. Several eating venues including the very nice Fyllopolis on main floor with an all day menu and the Juju rooftop restaurant for evening meals as well as a rooftop pool bar. Also Amelia restaurant downstairs was an excellent breakfast venue. Rooms nice. Staff extremely friendly and efficient. Prices maybe a bit high but it is a 5star hotel and we found the food excellent and service impeccable.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is very well situated in the center of Athens close to the National Gallery, to a few museums and the Kolonaki boutique area. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially in the breakfast area.
I was upgraded to a very confortable room with a big bathroom. The swimming room on the last floor was of a reasonably size, very refreshing but a little crowded in the afternoon.
