Biggest issue was with breakfast. Fruit flies were all over fruits and vegatables. Everything was cold. Issues with hot water in the room.

This bathroom is quite small . The shower space it’s too small , and if are a person more like 100 kg it’s gone by very difficult the make shower into the cabin . The toilet seat it’s way to close from the sink and cabin. Plus a bad smell from the sewer. Poll area not so clean . They were making renovations and we ended having lots of noise , specially if stay on the pool .

Beach entry next to the hotel was full of large rocks, but within 50-100m walk there was sandy entrance as well. We did not receive the usual care package as we should have when we came to the hotel (soap,shampoo, etc.) - overall the cleaning staff could use some more supervision.

The hotel had very friendly staff and great food. There was a supermarket next to the hotel with very good prices for being on the beach. Overall I had very positive experience apart from some minor cleanliness issues.

A lovely modern place with a nice swimming pool. George is very helpful and contactable person.Restaurants, shop and car hire office it's all just behind the corner. The restaurant - Areya serves very high quality food. If you are looking for an cosy place to relax and enjoy your stay in Crete, Galazio Beach is the perfect choice.

The cleanliness of the rooms is to be improved.

The property is very pretty, located right next to the beach and the main road too. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was spacious, the breakfast was great, including champagne 🙂 The owner was very helpful and friendly, as well as the whole crew. Well done guys 🤗

Air conditioning could have been better as 17k BTU is not sufficient to cool the family suites. Bathrooms need some updating &/or reconfiguration as they are ideally set up.

It is really close to the beach. Supermarkt direct in front. German TV channel :-) Everything very neat and clean i didn't expect that for the price...super plus

Usually I don't write bad reviews, but this was such a disappointing experience. We paid for the room almost 600 euros for 3 nights. First of all I would like to mention, that on the picture there was a different room and looked completely different with a different description. We were shocked that such a seemingly stylish hotel could have rooms that look like rooms in a sanatorium. When we checked in the shower was dirty and rusty, the handle to the balcony door was broken and fell off immediately. We got a room with a view of the supermarket, although in room description it was mentioned that it is a room with a pool view, but that's the smallest problem. Of course shampoo or any body wash wasn't provided, even not a single hand soap! There was no sponge or dishwashing liquid in the kitchen to wash the dishes! We were told that cleaning will come every day to clean the floor and change towels, but they only came once. Hotel doesn't even provide towels for the pool. Also there is almost never an employee at the reception and you always have to wait. It was a first time I had such a bad experience for this amount of money, so I don't recommend you to stay here if you are not taking the most expensive room with a pool access.

Absolutely loved staying here, the place is just beautiful and the staff are fantastic, breakfast included was really good, will definitely be returning, George is so helpful and lovely. Would recommend to anyone to go and stay, we stayed for 11 nights and enjoyed everything about this place.

That we had to leave ! We will be back next year for two weeks.

The hotel is beautiful as is the location and views. Set a ten second walk across to the beach with an amazing restaurant serving great food and beverage. The team is what sets the place apart from its neighbours, family run and this shows with a relaxed atmosphere as if you’re welcomed into their home. They cannot do enough for you! George and his father were so kind and welcoming as were all the team members we came across. You really feel as if it’s a holiday away from home at one of you’re family members . They went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us! Ilias in the restaurant is so attentive and friendly always greeted us with a warm smile! The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy beds, great air con, kitchenette, overlooking the pool. Whenever we had any queries no matter what time of day George and his father were always on hand to help us. You truly receive the five star service but with a personal family touch you do not get elsewhere. We will be back next year for two weeks!

Only the bedroom had air-conditioning, no AC in the living room.

We had a great time, quiet place, very good breakfast, everyone in the hotel was very helpful and friendly! Our 1 bedroom suite with the terrace was fantastic. The terrace was huge. We loved to watch sunset from our terrace:)

this is not a 4 starts hotel. A 4 star hotel I expect there to be shampoo and conditioner in the shower and hand soap these are very basic things. we had to go to the share WC at the pool in order to wash our hands. the rooms ( triple) has no PRIVATE TERRESA as showed at the pictures . its 3 rooms with 1 shared balcony. The design of the rooms is designed to save electricity, therefore the entrance door of the room is entirely made of glass (non-transparent) and the curtains are semi-transparent in order for light to enter. The result is that there is no darkness in the room!! Not at night and not at all during the day. We were with an 8-month-old baby and when he wanted to take a nap, we couldn't darken the room! I have never encountered such a situation where it is impossible to darken the room in order to sleep. also at night the light from the rest of the rooms balcony is going direct to the room . so its make it difficulty to go sleep ( the room was super light and bright ) In addition, there is no privacy since the balcony is shared with 2 other rooms in addition to ours and the door and window face the balcony. After I asked, the staff came and helped put up curtains in order to try darken the room. also we arrived at 11:00 at night from the airport , we tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. we tried at the morning and still there was not hot water . after i have complaint they told me that the water is getting hit only from the sun and probably all rest of the rooms use the whole hot water . 4 starts hotel ? im depending the sun ?

this hotel is amazing , great location , great front beachbar ( that belong to the hotel). the breakfast was super ! and the stuff people are really nice the pool is very clean. alot of games for the kids

Very good hotel for holiday on the beach : nice room with a lot of facilities (fridge, small kitchen, balcony) , the breakfast with a variety of food ( English or continental but also sushi & wine) , the staff- a team which always has a solution for any questions/ requests; they are hardworking people and you can see them at the breakfast, on the beach, on the bar, to the supermarket- always with smile - they make us fill in a “ no worry” holiday - thank you all team for this!

I must say it was an amazing experience. The place was nice, clean, and tidy, and the personnel were incredibly cheerful and welcoming. They served a generous and delicious breakfast, and the host was extremely kind and hospitable. The beach was right in front of the place and it was also well-maintained and tidy. The swimming pool was always clean and refreshing. What's more, there was a convenient supermarket nearby, along with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Galazio itself had a restaurant that not only offered excellent food and service but also frequently featured live night music. It was such a pleasure to enjoy a breakfast that was both generous and satisfying. I truly enjoyed my stay at Galazio, and I highly recommend it to others.

 I didn’t like being woken up every morning by construction workers yelling at each other. Not being able to fall asleep,at night, because the doors are made partly out of glas, so you can hear everybody standing outside. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable… the sun beds were better to sleep on. We also hade a rusty old shower, which was too small in my opinion, from the length and height. And they were also roaches in our bathroom.
