Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

TurkeyRoom photos was a little bit tricky. Yes explanation not include 'sea view' but photo of room had a seaview. I guess only 2 rooms have a sea view but it seems as if all rooms have a sea view. There is no refrigerator in room. Shower part in bathroom is very tight.
We had to leave early (before breakfast), staff prepared a breakfast package for us and it was very rich and so cute. Room was clean and wi-fi was satisfied. The hotel in front of sea but sea not good for swimming. You have to go somewhere else.

Canadalate breakfast hours: 9:00-12:00.
seafront location. Room size as indicated. Bed and pillows good. No mini-fridge in room. Shower doors missing. Balcony very narrow. A/C dripping water occasionally. Pool and mountain view nice. Pool and sunloungers were a bonus, nice pool area.

United KingdomShower room was small but adequate. I'm not slim so kept banging my watch on the tap and knocking the shower gel off but they are limited by building design somewhat. Balcony nice to stand and look out at the sea, not really for sitting out on but they do have amazing seats outside in the bar where you can sit all you like whilst drinking an ice cold beer so it's not a real issue unless you want to just sit alone. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room and a kettle
Location - Right on the sea, front line with great views. Supermarket next door, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, short walk to lots of other eateries, bars, tavernas and a sandy beach. Room - Room was a little small to what we usually stay in and the bathroom more so. However it was clean and tidy, the aircon was nice and cold and we had a sea view from a small balcony. There are 2 new rooms near the pool and the owner showed us them, these are in a different league and would be well worth the extra money if one is available. Staff - family run which give a great personal touch, very attentive and the service was always very good. The owner and her son are lovely people, make you feel very welcome. Food and Drink - We ate here quite a few times, the food is brilliant and there is literally every drink you can think of from a budget vodka all the way through to a 25 yr old single malt whisky. Cocktails galore served in nice glasses, lots of ice etc. Wine very nice and they even have a humidor with cigars on offer from 25-110 euro. Pool - The pool is a decent size, nice temperature and always got a nice comfy sun lounger. No need to rush out with your towel as there is plenty to go around whether you want sun or shade.

The deluxe rooms are spacious, cleen and well ventilated. Plenty of room space and extras, very comfortable beds and the bathtub is an added bonus which my wife loved.. The swimming pool and surroundings are very relaxing and. comfortable.. Staff is very nice.

IrelandThere were small children in hotel which we didn't expect since it's advertised they don't take in children younger then 14 (1 of key points we chose hotel in the first place). Then those kids woke us up in the middle of the night fighting in the hallway.
Staff were amazing, very polite and professional. Everything was exceptionally clean. Food was great.

TurkeyFront side rooms has excellent sea view but there is a restaurant/bar downstairs so you exchange the view for quietness, if you prefer the back side quiet rooms with mountain view then the power generator next door and the construction work at the back of the hotel doesnt allow much room for silence. but i think these are seasonal problems and will be over soon
