A Great place to start exploring the island from.

The built in furniture is a little uncomfortable as it is over size. Hard to sit in. And the bed mattresses could be a little softer. The kitchen needs an oven, a combi microwave is too small for 4 guests.

Excellent location, 2 min walk from the beach. Great sunsets over neighbouring Paros. Close to Restaurants, Tavernas and markets. Relaxing by the pool. Friendly cats and wildlife (Goats) passing by. The Hosts supplied us with information on travelling to the villa and the local markets which was helpful as it was Easter weekend and not many places open.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property. The weather was a bit windy and there’s a kitesurfing school close by which should have been a clue. We also visited in September so that probably made it windier than normal. The property itself is lovely.

The property is like a show home - it’s stunning. So clean and white. Beautifully presented. Kitchen is really well equipped and the showers are great. Nice big pool (1m to 1.4m deep) and there’s an excellent hairdryer too. There’s a good taverna 10 mins walk down the beach and a better one 5 minutes drive away but you have to book (it’s worth it). A really good supermarket is also about 5 minutes drive.

    A taste of paradise

    Too short ;-)

There are places we'd like to keep secret. This house is one of them, modern and pleasant, with a splendid view, every sunset is a gift. The beach, just a stone's throw away, is splendid, never crowded, with its light sand and the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. Sarah and Marco gave us a warm welcome and made our stay heavenly. We recommend the naxosgems.com website to book this house, which offers private yoga classes by the pool and a home chef if required. A wonderful discovery, thank you very much, see you soon.

This is not an issue of the property but we weren’t aware of how windy Naxos could be. Else, there are properties under construction next door that could be a little annoying if you value extreme privacy.

We made a huge search before making our mind clear and Villa Aura did not fail to meet our expectations. Everything in the property is quite new and our hosts Marco and Sarah made our life much more easier with insights from the island, special thanks to them. The very nice pool and the proximity to the beach made our stay with two small kids smoother! At our check in there was some local olive oil and bottle of wine was waiting for us. This was a nice way to kick off our days there.
