How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The hotel could use some refurbishing, not sure I would rate it as a 4 stars hotel.
The hotel is well located and the staff is polite and helpful.

The bed was not for two, water leaks from air conditioner,, they were in the room to fix it withour warning us, the balcony door barely open When we complained at the reception they said we are sorry, only we can do is not to charge parking for 2 Eur ?????

Pool, food, location. Is worth to visit. We extended our stay for three days because was great! This is all inclusive hotel. Awesome rooms. AND DRINKS ALL YOU CAN DRINK))....for sure I am coming back!

All inclusive actually means all included. No extra charges for the evening bars. Food was fine. Location is good and the nature soroundig is nice.

Two main beds in the room were very comfortable, while sofa was not quite suitable for an adult child (21 years old).
Pool area was very good and clean, beach was really close with very clean water, various beach activities within short walking distance. Room was good but could have been a bit bigger. Fortunately, the terrace was comfortable and it was kind of a room "extension".

the soft drinks were too sweet and it felt like they were just a replacement for the original ones, which were hard to consume. e.g. "coca cola" was actually unconsumable. (well, ofc you could drink it, but on the scale 1-10, it would be 1).

Empty room fridge and lack of parking space.

Our room had view to parking cars ! The building ist realy big . It was not easy to get to the room.

People put towels on the sunbeds, but then they weren't there all day and the sunbeds were occupied.
Perfect place for a family with children. Pools for children and food for children.

The staff, especially the receptionists were rude and not helpful at all. No clear rules about the towel usage at the pool, it caused a problem at the end. The minibar is not included in the all inclusive service. The wall in the bath was wet and stained.
Food was delicious and large selection. Location is good, nice view to the sea. Close to the beach. Very clear rooms.

too soft bed, uncomfortable extra bed - not actually extra but third in a room for three, same food every day, not enough for children (pancakes, waffles, warm milk for dinner if you already offer cereals), unfilled and awkward saltines, picking up lunch too soon - if we arrived at 1.30 pm we had to take everything, including fruit or dessert, because otherwise they had already taken everything away,
the staff was extremely friendly, despite the fact that the same person did the work from morning to evening throughout the week of our stay. Extremely friendly girl working at the reception, also by the pool boy changing towels, snack bar staff, animators and cleaners.

The service level of hotel is extraordinary. Stuff is kind and helpful. There is a good variety of food in the hotel restaurant, I wasn’t eating in between meals, although there was a snacking option near the hotel pool. Beach in nearby, I personally love small, rocky beaches and you can find a variety around. For the vine and food lovers, Istra is the great choice. You can do vine and truffles tasting in the area. I will definitely come back!
