The owner Stijepo and Ivana are outstanding hosts. As a solo traveller I felt safe and that they were looking out for me. I had a few concerns about meeting my taxi for a 4 am pick up to the airport and they not only arranged it for me but Stijepo accompanied me and helped me with my luggage at 4 am to the meet up point to make sure I got there with no problems. They both went over and beyond what you would expect from hosts. They are the best!!! The room was great, the beds comfortable. Stijepo took the time to go over places to see and eat. Fantastic!!

This apartment was excellent! It is in a great location right in old town so super convenient and close to all main spots. The apartment is clean and a good size. The hosts were excellent and very kind. The orientation to the city by the host when I first arrived was very helpful as he gave me time tips for navigating the city and transportation, as well as some restaurant recommendations.

More folded clothes storage space and a second bedside table would be welcome!

Super cute place to stay with good facilities and nestled in the heart of the Old Town, easy to pop back to. The hosts were easily contactable and we were grateful to be able to have an early check in. Stijepo met us on arrival in the street, and was super friendly and helpful, with loads of great recommendations. The restaurant recommendations (with discounts too) were amazing, and it was great to know of them amongst the many eating options available. It was lovely to have a little kitchenette to be able to have breakfast in, and we enjoyed sitting on the steps outside enjoying a morning coffee / banana! Would definitely stay here again if visiting beautiful Dubrovnik.

I have to be honest, the 100 plus steps up to the apartment were a challenge but it added to the adventure

Located perfectly within the Old Town of Dubrovnik, the unit was walking distance to all the sights, shops and restaurants. 5 minutes walk from the Buza Bar and GOT "Walk of Shame" .Had a little kitchenette too, so you could do breakfast or a little dinner in. Lovely quiet lane way. 10 minutes walk from Pile Gate. The hosts are delightful and friendly.

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location in the old city - you will have the best sleep of your life here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it’s very clean and well taken care of. Stijepo is a wonderful host - he went above and beyond even though we only stayed overnight. Will be returning here for sure. Balkan hospitality at it’s finest.

The stairs. if you carry a 20 kg luggage then be ready for 100 stairs. That is the cost if you want to stay in the old town because Dubrovnik is a bowl-shape city.

I knew that there were stairs to climb, from the photos of the property and that is hard to avoid in Dubrovnik. They were an issue for my mum.

Our host was very proud of his city and his family. He spent time showing us what to do and where to do it. His advice was very useful, especially the restaurant recommendations. We got a discout at each evening meal too!

Nothing to not like

The owners, they make you feel like family and they treat you that way 🫠We love the feel of living in there. Very natural, living in Dubrovnik feel. Clean, comfy beds, very well equipped, including the coffee maker and filters for it! All the kitchen utensils and sizeable fridge. The location is fantastic too, once Stijepo explained to us oldies how to move around Dubrovnik!

Amazing location in the Old Town. The hosts were very helpful and friendly - organising our transport from the airport, carrying our bags up all the stairs, and giving us great tips for our time in Dubrovnik! The beds were also very comfortable! We would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

We liked everything

Good communication and warm welcome from Stijepo on arrival, including ice cold water after walking from the bus in the hot weather. Lots of recommendations provided for things to do and where to eat, with a 10% discount card provided for certain restaurants. The location was excellent, just up one flight of stairs from the flat streets, and walking distance to all the old town. Stijepo also provided a paper map, as he warned us that Google maps is less reliable in Dubrovnik old town.

Family owned property, very friendly and helpful staff welcoming me to the room. Super quiet in the evening helping me have a good sleep. Th location is within the old town but the south area is on the hill so it would be hard for those who have big suitcases to climb the steep stairs.

Steps

Most important people need to be aware there are 100 steep stairs to this property. We were not aware. Dubrovnik is known as the city of steps, knowing what i know now I would book outside the old town. However our host was kind enough to help with our luggage, in and out of the property. Frankly, we could not do it without that help
