Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomLocation - Super handy to many restaurants in old town and on the harbour strip. Main shopping strip in the old town - 3 min walk through quaint cobbled streets. 4 min walk to one of several cycle hire shops. Bikes are a great way to get out to the national park (10 min slow ride past many beaches where can dip or rent umbrella's and loungers). Think bikes are better than walking in the National Park. Apartment - Zoran and his wife have thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable. Their little apartment had everything and was put together with great care. The deck is really much more spacious than the images indicate. It is a sun trap and is so peaceful. The kitchen is just inside the door from the deck. We spent much of our time eating breakfasts and enjoying the odd bottle of wine on the deck. Desired convenience to fetch the bottle out of the fridge :). Images of the interior of the apartment do not do it justice to the quality and quaintness. Parking - we did not have a car with us. However, we know that Zoran directs those who have car to the parking area outside the town. Parking in the town is restricted to residents. Zoran and his wife shuttle people to and from the parking area outside the town. They are such a responsive and helpful couple. You really feel in good care. Nothing seemed to be too much to ask of them. Zoran so generously shuttled us to pick up a hire car when we departed. He arranged an airport service for us from Pula airport when we arrive at a very reasonable rate, recommended and booked restaurants. Even in September the restaurants were busy so booking in advance is important. Our view is consistent with those glowing reviews we read about the apartment and Zoran and his wife. Many of the reviews indicating that people had returned to stay at the apartment multiple. Most sited convenience; owners attitude and care; and quality of the apartment as reasons to return. We absolutely loved the 5 days we spent Rovinj.

Quiet, central location. Tasteful unique renovated small room with small fridge and cafe machine including some cafe capsules, tee bags etc. Very nice washroom with shower. Great very helpful host including pickup from the parking area.

AustriaZoran is a great host!!! The appartment is really beautiful with lots of lovely details and very clean. The parking situation in rovign is really tough, but thanx zoran it was no problem - also with two little kids. The towels smell really good. All in all a fantastic stay and appartment.

UkraineYou can pretty much shake hands with the people living in the building across the street or see what they are having for dinner, but that's normal for the old quarters in towns like Rovinj.
Apartment is perfectly located in the old town with close proximity to all the tourist spots. The host is very helpful in everything, from parking to covid test arrangements. And the terrace is amazing for chilling after a city walk.
