Great atmosphere and staff. Is very clean and in a great location. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to have a good time.

- the staff - very friendly and helpful - I was able to leave my backpack early in the morning and go sightseeing in the area and check in officially when I came back to the hostel in the evening; also, I needed to attend a 2-hour online lecture on my phone that evening - the receptionist found a quiet place for me with access to both wifi and a socket - clean showers and bathrooms - open kitchen combined with the sitting room

The water in all showers was cold. My bed sheets were a bit dirty. The beach nearby is a dog's beach, so it smelt bad there.

The staff is friendly and speaks good English. It is possible to leave luggage before checking in and after checking out. The kitchen is clean, and has working facilities like kettle, microwave, stoves, fridges. Free tea and some food like pasta. Two towels per person were provided for free. The internet connection was stable. Tap water is drinkable. Each bed has a big locker and several shelves to use. Walkable distance to the city center (15 mins) and to a nice beach (10 mins).

The terrible flies and mosquitoes that lived there. There was a shared toilet between men and women and no supervision for separate use. The smell of mold in the bathroom on the top floor. The bunkbeds, are not suitable for people who are not even tall.

The beds are getting old and need some new mattress. But they are still ok

after reading so much reviews, i thought i have to make my own opinion. I should say, I was surprisingly happy. The WC and rooms and kitchen were always kept clean. The lady personal was super supportive and helpful to everybody. Regarding the location, it was perfect for me, because honestly the rijeka itself has nothing to see as city but so many nice beaches! And although this hostel is abit of a walk (12-15 min) to city center, it is just 7 min walk away from all three best beaches in Rijeka. the front beach is the Dog beach, yea but many didnt mind. and if you mind swimming, you can just walk less than 10 min to get the next beautiful beach. But the view of the sea and having coffe or breakfast or just chilling with other cool hostel guest specially at night is something that you don't get even by other expensive hotels in the city center! so if you go to chill there and enjoy the cool beach bar on the next door. Its the perfect place for you. i would go there again, if i visit rijeka!

I would say that it's a bit expensive and maybe a bit far away from the city center. I'm saying this only cause I stayed in a hostel which I would give the same review for but it was 2 min walk away from the city center in the capital of Croatia, which was sligthly cheaper than this one.

Place is very clean and is righr next to Pecine Beach with amazing views. Staff was very helpful.

In general, the building looked quite damaged with pieces of the facade that had already fallen to the ground. The location, while it's very close to the sea it's far away from the city center, where all the museums and almost all the restaurants, supermarkets, etc. are located. Also, Rijeka public transport is quite expensive (2€/ticket). The bathrooms smelled very musty and you could see the fungus on the walls of the showers. Also, only one individual shower while the rest were shared, with not much space to leave the clothes. Finally, everybody was hanging their clothes to dry everywhere, so you could see somebody's underwear in the very narrow staircase that you need to use to get to the upper floor. While this is not a fault of the hostel itself, I didn't see them encouraging anybody to not do it.

The staff was very friendly, also spanish as well as many other languages were spoken. The hostel is located right next to the sea and there's a beach right in front. The rooms were fine.

The Hostel is ok. But avoid the room in the first floor. You can hear absolutly everything that happens in the reception. Like when the security guy talks in the phone at 4 o'clock in the morning, or the receptionist arrives at 7:30 and start chatting with everyone. It need to be isolated

I stayed in the room above the kitchen and it can get a little loud at nights, all the noise from the kitchen/ common area (music, people talking, cooking, etc.) gets into the room, since the door is only a thin plastic one.

The hostel is nice, clean and comfortable. The common area has a TV, the kitchen has everything you need, outside are also tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the view, talk with other guests, etc. The city center is about 30min walking but there is a bus stop near as well. The best part is that the hostel is right at the beach so you can stay there and swim and relax all that you want. There is also another beach nearby (5min) where there is a bar. Local restaurants and bars nearby.

Upon entering the sleeping room, only one of the two airco's was operational (after I had to ask for new batteries for the remote). I went to the toilet but couldn't wash my hands because all 3 soap dispensers were empty. Then I took a shower but the drain seemed blocked causing everything to overflow. On top of that everywhere were hairs on the ground. Cleaners (if they have any at all) didn't really do anything that day it seemed. The beds are simple but you can feel the springs poking in your back. Although that's what you can expect for this price.

The reviews of other people seemed very positive. When I arrived however the bed I booked was already given to someone else. The host wasn't really familiar with how things worked and gave me a different bed with a couple euro discount.

A dogs beach is a fun place to watch them play and swim, but some owners let them pee and poop there and don't pick up their poop. This raises many questions about the cleanliness of the beach itself and the water. I understand that it is difficult to keep clean at the hostel when there are many people, but you should try better. At least exterminate the ants in the kitchen. And I didn't like the broken furniture, broken and taped locker key, worn towels and mattresses.

The hostel is in a wonderful location - right on the sea shore. In 10 min. way there is a clean beach. Shared bedrooms are a great place to meet new people. The staff is very nice, everyone is friendly and wonderful. Thank to them very much.

I love walking but some people may not like that it’s about 15 mins to get to downtown on foot. There is a tram so shouldn’t be a problem but you aren’t in the main square. If you want to walk out into the main square vs a beautiful beach that is literally out the door with bedrooms looking at the ocean that this has, then not for you. I loved my experience.

I had such amazing nights staying here and hanging out with other guests and the employees (not naming names, but you guys know who you are 🥰)I don’t know if I was super lucky or that’s how it is always, but if looking for a place that’s a short walk (or quicker ride by tram), this was amazing. You’re on a great beach, full kitchen and shops close for food, everything is vigilantly cleaned, and it’s truly relaxing. 15/10

I didn't like the location at all! It was 20 minutes away from the city. The hostel was located in an industrial part of the city right by the port... The beach isn't spectacular. The beds were so uncomfortable, you could feel the mattress springs in your back
