Amazing. Hotel was great for the price we paid. The receptionist Edin was very kind. Breakfast was decent. Very nice view. Very close to the bus station. Stairs are not as bad as some comments say. View was very nice. No complaints.

A little cheeky that there was no access to even tap water with half board evening meal, meaning quite an additional expense at the less than cheap hotel bar. A bit of a slog up the stairs on top floor without a lift (but good for a calorie burn after eating!)

Beautiful views across the water and easy access to the small beach. Excellent bus service to Old Town. Fine variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed cleaned daily.

The single rooms could use an upgrade in particular the bathrooms. This did not affect my stay and despite that the room was great value for the money.

I did not stay at Hotel Vis - I stayed at Hotel Splendid (right next door). The staff at Splendid were friendly and very helpful. 15 minutes by bus to the Old Town. A special shout out to Romana and and Antonio at the front desk and the breakfast buffet staff. I had a really nice balcony room overlooking Lapad and the gardens at the hotel were beautiful. Wonderful panoramic walk around the bay but definitely too chilly for me to go swimming (Ist week of November)

Had to get a bus into old town - but the bus stop is right outside the hotel and runs every 15 mins and takes about 10 mins to get into old town.

Great location, loved the beach access and provided sun loungers if you were part of the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional.

The hotel does not free parking place, you need to pay 15 euros.

The hotel was on the first line by the water with direct access to the beach. The breakfast was good for the 3 star hotel, the same as the entire hotel. Our room was overlooking the sea with a nice small balcony. There are different rooms in the hotel, if you are lucky you can get a good one. Our first room was with a door to the neighbor room and next to the laundry room, with a lot of noise during the night, we complained and got a nice room in the opposite hotel wing, plus we received a bottle of wine and excuse letter, what was really pleasant. So 10 points to the hotel management.

It was far from the Old Town But biggest problem was the number of steps. Not only did it not have a lift, but there were no ramps, only steps. Walking all those steps and carrying my bags was a struggle Also no refrigerator in the room

I liked that the room had a balcony and faced the sea. The sound of the sea was lovely to hear.

The facilities are old. There is a smell of mold in the building. The carpets were very old. Old furniture in the room. Definitely not worth the money.

No fridge or tea/coffee facilities. I would expect being in Croatia in high season with the hot weather, a fridge would be a must. There was an awful sewage stench in the late afternoon, not that its the fault of the hotel but it puts you off sitting outside.

The location was perfect for us, far enough away from the old time to get away from all the tourists but close enough to get the bus into town when we needed. The room had a lovely view from the balcony. The room was clean. Breakfast was a very good surprise, a huge variety that would suit everyone.

This is a great value for a beachfront location ! All the staff was sweet , the breakfast is really good & we highly recommend . It is not renovated , but the location and the reasonable price make up for the basic interiors . We would stay again .

Location. Allowed us to park at hotel and take #4 bus outside the hotel to Old Town Dubrovnik without fighting the traffic or paying high parking. Good breakfasts. Sea view room. Quiet. Clean.

The staff on arrival were exceptional, we were 5 x friends travelling and had 2 x rooms. This is an excellent little property, great location facing the water. There is a bus stop directly outside to catch to Old Town, which was perfect for us. There are some beautiful restaurants in walking distance, and a small convenience store about 200 metres down the road, which also had some excellent linen clothing! We loved the laid back bar downstairs, the access to the water and the whole relaxed vibe was brilliant. There is a wonderful breakfast included which we enjoyed. Staff were great. The rooms were a little small, but we didn't care as we were out exploring or enjoying the water right at our doorstep. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel could do a bit of refurbishment . It is a bit outdated . No lift just something to keep in mind for someone who as difficulty with stairs as there is a lot of them. We missed our kettle in the room to make coffee that was a big thing for us as we need caffeine and the coffee at breakfast was not nice at all it was instant ( burned taste )

The location was lovely.bus at the door step , the beach at the bottom of the steps of the hotel , the marina a short walk 10 min . Bars and restaurants 5 min . The view from our balcony was fabulous just on the bay. The staff was lovely they kept us dinner on our arrival as we were so late 2 am . But we didn't have the energy to eat anything.
