All the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, very clean hotel with great breakfast and lovely rooms. I am back there next week for work.

The rooms are not that quiet, you can almost always hear some of the neighbours. Breakfast and dinner delicious according to my family- there were no options for vegans except for the side dishes so I ate vegetables and rice for dinner for days.

Staff really nice and helpful. Checking in and out was really easy, parking was great as well.

There was no hot water after five minutes of running water in the bathroom. I notified the reception. After contacting the superior, the staff on duty suggested that I continue to run the water. It took about 20 minutes in total to get hot water. Thank you to the reception that evening.

The machine coffee at breakfast is pretty terrible, sorry to say, but this is easy to fix so I really hope they do that. On one occasion the person making our evening drinks at the bar was plainly in a very bad mood, I understand we all have off days and it only happened once, but it was a bit unprofessional. Check out could have been easier (took a while to sort out the bill) but nothing unusual.

Very convenient and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed as a family. Swimming pool and garden much nicer than we expected. Close to the main road but still easy to relax and switch off. Good aircon and Wifi. You have to pay for parking but it is not expensive. Easily walkable to the centre of town. Vast majority of staff very kind and attentive.

Noisy guest around later night. Not well maintained welness pool and sauna only on demand. Bfast coffee from machine not drinkable.

Staff was helpfull anytime, kind and smily. Great parking space, no to much people at pool and inflatable tools, great b fast everyday and cakes! Next is Tesco so handy. Good offer at bar including coffe.

The blankets were way too small (narrow and short) and does not fit to a single bed. May be time to get wider and longer blankets

I was not fully comfortable on the balcony we had, the roof was a bit low, but the view was okay. I didnt have time to be out anyway as we barely stayed 1 night.(arrived 3am and left at 10:50am next morning. At check-out i had to pay extra 10 euro for tax and a small bottle of water in minibar. The minibar fridge was not turned on so the bottled water was very warm in it. And there was nothing in it except that 2 small warm bottlle of water.

We specificly chose this Hotel because we arrived late(2:30am) and so needed 24hours reception. Checkin was perfect! Girl very nice. The room was efficent, spacious clean , comfy bed nice pillows. Bathroom is small but very efficent. (Even magnifier mirror for makeup.) Nice shower. Hot water. Storage plenty. Fullsize mirror by the door. Nice little sitting sofa. (openable, we didnt need it) Breakfast was very practical, all typical items are there. Nothing over the top ofcourse, however lecso and cake seemed like an extra nice touch. Waitress very nice. It was quiet and peaceful when we was there, 10 min before 10am. (June 1st.) We didnt have time to try the Spa sadly, but it was a very nice extra. I recommend this Hotel.

The only downside at breakfast ,as a lactose intolerant person, I would be happy to see lactose free options, but not even lactose free milk... I think in a 4 stars hotel bathrobe should be provided... but it wasn't a problem, I used the spa towel they gave us (also, the towel should be much bigger and better quality). Kettle and fridge would be nice to have in the rooms. Waiters/waitresses at breakfast should be more polite and kind.

We had a lovely stay there. The staff were very kind,professional, and helpful (except the ones at the breakfast). Our room was clean, spacious, with a nice balcony. The walls are not thin, soundproofing are really good! The bathroom is refurbished, everything is new. The bed was comfortable, the bed linen was clean, smelling fresh. Our room was on the 3rd floor and didn't have wifi access. It was some kind of connection problem. They tried their best to accommodate us, and they offered a new room on the second floor, which had wifi. The breakfast was good, great selection, warm and cold food. The wellness area is small but clean and has 3 different saunas, I loved it! The hotel has a big parking area, you need to pay around 3 euros per night, but it's convenient. I think currently you can not find a better deal in Balatonfured. We would definitely return! Thank you,Hotel Margareta! :)

We had a great time, you can feel yourself at home in this very friendly hotel. The Finn sauna is as hot as it should be, the whole spa is very nice. Breakfast and dinner were exceptionally good. All I can say is we'll go back!

Personnel are kind, polite and warm. The superior room is comfortable, clean and with a nice view on Balatonfüred and the lake Balaton. Buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal are various and let you have a taste of hungarian cuisine. The position of the hotel is central: close to the wonderful Tihany, a few minutes on foot from the railway station, the bus stations and the cycle lanes.

Wrote everything in the positive comment because I don't think those obsearvations are really a negative thing.

The staff mostly speaks English which is very helpful for foreigners. The room looks exactily like on the photos. Dinner and breafkast are awesome, swedish table style, but really delicious. Drinks are not included in price and are paid seperately. Parking is also not free, costs 2,50€ per day/night (but that is noted on the bottom of the page about the hotel info). The beds are for one person but connected so they make a "double bed" with small gap between. Put that aside, I had a GREAT night of sleep because they are really comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet (aldo the hotel is close to the road). I didn't use the wellness and the pool so I can't comment on that, I just saw the pool is a bit smaller, looked bigger than on photos, but still pretty usable :). Big UPs for Bálint on the reception table :).
