Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

MalaysiaReached the hotel at 130 am after a long flight. Coming to the hotel to check in and knowing that our room has been given out to others! Like What in the world. Tried to contact the property 3 days up on checking in to inform that I would be arriving late But there were no replies. Contacted the customer service, no reply on texts and calls. Useless service.

DenmarkVery dirty rooms, we have spotted blood stains on bedsheets, pillow covers were covered with stains, when asked why are there spots all over ? The answer was .. they are washed but we can’t get rid of the stains or spots .. my opinion ! Well then get new ones spend some cash, rather than chase customers away .. and guys .. small cockroaches ( disgusting) all over and I mean literally all over along the bed, found one under my pillow, bathroom is literally filled with small cockroaches.. so the bottom line .. the Staff is very respectful, rooms are very dirty and small cockroaches everywhere, close to the center .. over n out Emil n Nanna from Denmark

GermanyThe room does not have a window that opens to the outside. That's why we can't get fresh air. Furniture was old. Cockroaches were crawling all over the room. wifi connection was bad. Since it was on the main road, there was a lot of vehicle noise from the road.
Staff and manager was very friendly and helpful. They always tried to solve my complaints and help. The size of the room is enough. The beds were comfortable. There was a drinkable water dispenser on each floor. There was a small swimming pool.

GermanyMost disgusting hotel I've ever had in more than 3 years since I live in Indonesia. The bed linens are covered in stains, the mattress, blanket and pillows have a disgusting smell to it. No improvement when I complained about it and the house keeping changed the linens. Couldn't spent a single night there and moved to another hotel.

JapanClose to the train station, easy to find PCR test places for International flights. I was worried after reading the negative reviews, but it was not the case. Large, clean rooms and bathrooms, large windows overlooking the town. On the day of check-out, I had an extended stay because I had a flight at midnight. I think it was a much wiser choice than looking for a place with functioning air conditioning and wifi and killing time in a shopping mall. The room was that comfortable. There is drinking water dispense on each floor, a swimming pool on the 2nd floor, and a fridge available at reception. The cleaning staff and reception were all friendly. Thank you.

DenmarkWhen we arrived, the room was not cleaned, it had no toilet paper or towels and the sheets were dirty. We asked to get it fixed and waited almost an hour. When the staff changed the sheets, there kept being either blood stains or yellow stains on the sheets. We ended up walking out and finding another place to stay
