The noise level. There was music in the reception area, which was quiet in the day, but louder at night, with different repetitive music all day by the pool, then, which was the worst and which I also admit is beyond the hotel's control, is the bar music from next door, which is 90's rave music played very, very loudly, which unfortunately can be heard in the bedrooms. Earphones are needed to block out the noise if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. We sadly used to stay out until 10 pm to ensure that the bar music from next door had finished so that we could get to sleep.

The location of the hotel on the beach. The generous size of the room with a large bathroom and a separate walk in wardrobe/dressing area. Good selection at breakfast. Staff very friendly & helpful and good service given.

The property is run down and doesn't look like it's had a birthday in years. The rooms need a makeover as they are showing a lot of wear and tear due to age. The water jets on the pool sunbeds were covered in algae, which shows it doesn't get cleaned properly.

Good location, very friendly staff and a comfy bed. It would be amazing if they looked after it.

My recent stay at what was supposed to be a luxurious 5-star hotel Anantara Seminyak, turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I cannot express enough how deeply disappointed I am with the uncleanliness of the staff, rooms, and the lack of any form of satisfactory customer service during my stay. Upon arrival, it was evident that the hotel was not living up to its prestigious reputation. It was clear that personal hygiene and cleanliness were not a priority for them. The bed sheets emitted an unmistakable stench of sweat. It was evident that they had not been changed or properly cleaned in a long time. The overall cleanliness of the room was visible with dirt and dust in corners and on surfaces. It was a far cry from the pristine conditions one would expect from a 5-star establishment. To add insult to injury, I requested a refund as I couldn’t stay one more night in this hotel and I was promised a refund will be credited to my account. 3 weeks have passed since and I have yet to receive my refund from them, when I contacted them they shared a screen shot of the transaction and what is even more shocking is that the accounts number the transaction was made to was not my account…. It is absolutely unacceptable that a supposedly prestigious hotel would allow such actions uncleanliness to persist and fail to address customer concerns in a satisfactory manner. As a guest, I expected a superior level of service and an experience that would justify the high price tag. Unfortunately, Anantara Seminyak failed to deliver on all fronts. I strongly advise against considering Anantara Seminyak for your accommodations. The uncleanliness of the staff and rooms, combined with the offensive odor and the lack of any form of refund or resolution, make it abundantly clear that this establishment is far from deserving of its 5-star rating. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Common areas were very badly maintained. Whole hotel requires urgent renovations. We found housekeeping standards low. Breakfast service was very slow and breakfast menu very limited.

Room both air con vents leaked badly. Ants on sofa. The 2 wooden bed head keeps dropping. Certain morning no refill of basic tea bags. Phone from room dial '0' to reception does not work. Hitel room is old and tired. WC seat is not properly aligned. All in , not value for money.

for the price you pay the facilities are very old, outdated. The tv images are very distorted, the staffs uniform you can tell are very worn out. A lot of old stains, the rooms have a very dusty and old smell, the gym was not available as it was renovated and we were not informed.
