The lighting, I prefer a room that is well lit. The hotel is a bit too old but I think it will be better after the renovation...since when I stayed there it is under renovation.

I like that all the staff are friendly and helpful.

The room furniture is a bit old since the hotel is quite old as well.

The location is superb. Right in the city center, very close to the main stadium of GBK and other sport facilities, big malls (PS, Sency and FX). Accessible with public transportation including MRT, Transjakarta, etc. Many varieties of breakfast both american and continental, especially Indonesia foods.

The interior was old. We got a leaked aircon situation after we checked in but the staff quickly moved us to better room. The TV was also standard quality and not a smart TV. The exhaust fan was not really working in the bathroom.

It is located in prime areas. You'd get green views of Senayan park. Surrounded by awesome shopping malls. The breakfast was quite good. The room is equipped with bathtub with reasonable price, considering the area. The service was great too.

This large hotel has 17 floors of rooms. My initial room on the 10th floor was very poor. Old shower curtain, dirty silicon around the bath, ripped wallpaper, some electrical sockets not working. I then was shown a refurbished room on floor 12, which was much better. In fact, I selected an executive floor room in the end on floor, 16. What a difference! I recommend that you choose floor 17, 16, 14, 12, which have all been refurbished so far (September 2023).  The difference is amazing and this transformed my stay. The business lounge is well worth the small premium. Excellent quality buffet food in the evening with drinks included and a superb view of the city. If you are staying on a Thursday night, ask to be accommodated in a room far from the nearby mosque, unless you want a 4:30 am wake up call😀

The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The business lounge manager and his lovely assistant were very attentive and reacted very professionally and intelligently to my concerns. Extensive breakfast, plenty of food and beverage outlets at nice lobby area. 16th floor business lounge, a real treat.
