-Room was tiny, no place for anything except beds. -Bathroom was in terrible condition- no hot water, sink water flows from the room to the bathroom floor, and there was no ventilation at all. -No towels- the staff provided towels just after we asked on the second day. Not recommended at all.

Bathroom floor took ages to drain after a shower meaning it was hard to use if you didn’t want wet feet. Only one plug socket and high up on the wall so little annoying to charge devices

Good location and price for doing Bromo independently. Had hot showers and hosts cooked us breakfast of bread, fried eggs and chips after getting back from Bromo at 11am. Host also helped us organise transport back to Probolingo. Check out time (12-1pm) also gives you plenty of time to explore Bromo in the morning.

There was no sink in the bathroom/toilet. When we woke up in the morning to make the sunrise tour to Bromo there was no electricity and no water. So we had a hard time getting our stuff together and using the bathroom.

The room was simple but it suited our needs for two nights. Unlike we read in other reviews, our bathroom had a sink and a normal functioning toilet. The bed was super comfortable and it had a thick blanket. The wifi also worked great. The free breakfast was very good to regain our energy after our hikes. The owners were very kind and friendly. They helped us to book our transfer to Cemorolawang and back to Probolinggo. For the price, there’s nothing to complain about.

Room smelled very bad and moldy, incredibly humid, water drops on the ceiling. Just one little, thin blaket is provided so that we were freezing with a thermo shirt, pullover and jacket. Pillow cases and bed sheet don't seem to be changed between different guests. The building is falling apart, the door was broken and could hardly be closed - so that a person is with an easy kick inside the room. Breakfast were two toasts and a fried egg, supplement is not supplied. Dinner options are very limited to a point that you need to wait 1 hour for your order. Stay in Probolinggo or Malang and go by bike or book a tour from there.

The host was very kind and helpful. Location is close to bromo.

Great base to hike Mount Bromo. The owner is super friendly and always welcomes you with a big smile. Having breakfast included is nice too, so you can just take a shower when you come back from Bromo and meanwhile they will prepare breakfast for you on the terrace. Bed is comfy and they have a hot shower, which is really great as it gets cold up here.

unfortunately we were welcomed very unfriendly. The guy didn’t even talk to us. We got soaking wet on a motorbike and asked for toilet paper to dry our shoes as the role left in the toilet was empty. He was very annoyed and handed us one role. We asked for a second one, no chance. I understand that the accommodation is cheap and giving out stuff for free might not work for them but he could have at leased talked to us instead of moaning to us through a closed door.

it’s just a suggestion to improve the bathroom quality and the humidity of the house

the owner was so kind with us, he offer us a continental breakfast after coming back the night trekking to bromo and he planned for us a package tour to ijen (all inclusive with also the ticket for the day after to Bali). I suggest to everyone to come there, the place is what you can expect for the price you paid, we had no light in the toilet during evening and just one plug to charge the energy stuff, but you can handle it.

There ist no toilet flush (only a bucket of water) and no sink in the bathroom! Brushing your teeth becomes an adventure. Also in the beginning we had no hot water. After fixing this problem we then either had cold or boiling hot water for our shower, nothing in between. The whole room was damp and so were all our things at the end of our stay. In addition, power failures are relatively common in Cemoro Lawang and then you are stuck in this cold, wet room with no WiFi or light. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.

The only positive thing was Koko, the B&B staff. He was always super friendly and tried to help wherever he could.

The room was very simple. There were two comfy beds as we booked. But the room was extremely cold and damp and there was a hole in our bathroom sealing which made it lot colder. No heating. We got extra blankets when we asked for them. Without those we would had been freazing. There was no trashbin or sink in the room so you couldn't wash your hands for example. Only a shower. It was bit challenging to maintain your personal hygiene there. The room was way overpriced compared to the facilities what we had. But when we complained about these they tried to fix everything what they could and it was nice. If you're not too picky it works for one quick stay to see Mount Bromo.

The staff was excellent and it was easy to communicate. with them. They brought us extra blankets at the middle of the night. We booked 2 nights what was way too much because besides Mount Bromo, there's absolutely nothing else to see. They let us cancel the other night and gave us full refund which was super nice. Breakfast was served to the room and it was two piece of bread with a fried egg. Strong wifi. You can walk to KingKong Hill or Mount Bromo from here.

We made a mistake in choosing this property based on limited availability and location. It is a primitive homestay. Our room was cold and damp with the most basic of washing and toilet facilities. We chose not to eat the breakfast offered.

bed linen did not smell very fresh but were not dirty although.

The shower is perfectly hot : a big plus when it’s 10-15 degrees outside when you come back from hiking. The whole apartment is new and clean, in a good shape. Bed comfort is very appreciable too. It is well located and quiet (but we did not have b&b neighbors at that time) : high value for the price (in comparison with hotel in the area), I could come back !

Bromo trek or by jeep, for staying 1 night before the ascension it's perfect. Good bed and breakfast, they also help you for a taxi to Probollingo/ Bali.
