There is a shower and a toilet in the homestay but no sink which would have been useful. Dress warmly as it’s chilly and we couldn’t see any extra blankets.

The accommodation is basic but cheap and so is good value for money. The man and lady who greeted us when we arrived late at night were very helpful (even though we had language barriers). The man kindly carried all our luggage up the steep steps for us. He also organised two motorbike riders to take us to Bromo in the early hours of the following morning.

Not a major problem, but no sink available which was not very handy, but doable for one night. A lot of noise from the jeeps at around 02:00 as it is next to the main road. Owner was not that friendly when we arrived, just pointed to our room and that was it.

Location is ideal to do a hike to Bromo crater or to the view points for the sunrise. Accommodation was clean.

Bathroom is not the best, but really ok for a short stay. Road noisy because of the jeeps indeed, but we knew it before coming.

It is a basic stay but good value. We felt the 3am departure for bromo was a little early considering long wait at the viewpoint for sunrise but enjoyed overall.

Great for one night before going to bromo, we booked with the host with short notice and he took us jn a group in the jeep, was a great trip. Well located near bromo and there are restaurants nearby and can get a bus close by.

The bathroom did not have a sink so we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the shower. Still manageable for us. But it might be inconvenient for other people.

Very good value for money! The room was even better than it looks it the pictures. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The location is perfect! Close to the main restaurants and close to the entrance to Mt.Bromo. The host was very helpful. We recommend it.

The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable since it has not a sink. The room was a bit cool but anyway we slept well sice you have blankets.

Deddy is very nice, he helped us organizing our trekking to Bromo. He advised us the best way to do and also trying to make our stay easier and simple. The room is very big and clean and the location is perfect since you are close to the Bromo trekking but also close to the restaurants.

Owner wasn’t there when we arrived. His parents were but they didn’t speak much English and weren’t able to help much with some of our questions. Bathroom smelled pretty bad, especially when you had the shower on. Had to run the shower for ages to get hot water and it then cut off after a time. Right on the main road up to the sunrise viewpoints, so the jeep tours drive past loudly from 2am. We only stayed one night and it was the night we got up to hike King Kong (1 hour 45) so it didn’t really matter to us, but I’m not sure we’d have slept through the noisy road for another night.

Quite big, like a mini apartment with a sofa and dining table as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Very close to the centre of town. You get towels and a duvet, which is handy for the cold nights. Comfy bed. Pretty good shower pressure, although you have to run it for a long time to get hot water. Drinking water provided. Free wifi. We weren’t on it lots but it seemed to work fine. Owner can help organise a Bromo jeep, but we walked it.

We were a group of 6 people. We arrived late after a very long trip from Yogyakarta and Deddy and his family were very kind in welcoming us, offering tea and snacks. Deddy also provided us two rooms with 2 beds (despite we had booked one with two beds and one with one bad) because he had one available, and didn't charge us anything more. He provided the jeep to go to the viewpoint (we got to see only the hill and not the Bromo crater because it was closed for a fire). He also found us a reliable driver to go back to Probolinggo the day after (strongly recommended!!). There was smell coming from the bathroom, but reading from other reviews it must be a common problem of the village due to the sewage system, and only one of the two rooms had it. We strongly recommend this homestay and we will go back to him again if we have the chance.

The bathroom was a little shock, asian style toilet (which is ok), but no sink? Wifi was non-existent, which didn't affect us so much.

The location is perfect, only a short walk distance from Mt. Bromo. The host was also amazing giving us tips and suggestions for our hike/stay.

The host gave us many useful advice on how to get to the Bromo viewpoint and how ti proceed to the crater (we did all by walking, it was beautiful). He gave us some reccomendation for the dinner and he helped us arranging the transfer from/tò Probolinggo station. Also host's parents were so kind as we came back from the trekking. Room Is clean and comfortable!

Staircase and slope too steep for oldies like us. The noise of jeep and motorcycles at 2am but we have no choice because that's the only road leading to Mt Bromo entrance.

Friendly and helpful owner and family. They help us a lot in carrying our luggages. Modern toilet facility for the 2nd floor room. Owner message us on our requirement to rent jeep for sightseeing. Sunrise and surrounding view from our room was awesome. No need aircon since the weather is already cold during evening time onwards. Near to restaurant. Near to Mt Bromo entrance.
