How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dirty bedsheets are a big no no. I am not too picky but itMs not ok bedsheets with clear stains are beijg re-used. The bathroom has a serious ventilation problem and creates mold and humidity in the bathroom. Airco not working properly.
It has a nice poolnand location is good. I had a good time and it’s not bad but nothing special and feels like this has become a cashcow. If they update their facilities it would have been much better.

Fabulous staff. Great pool with nice gardens. Clean. Housekeeping daily. Cendara Bali Massage 100 metres away is awesome! Ask for Wayan. Warung Taman Bumbu 100 metres away is awesome for lunch.

Great staff. Big pool. Close to restaurants. Best massage 100 metres away named Cendana Bali Massage. Housekeeping everyday. Warung Taman Bumbu is 100 metres away...best Nasi Campur!

No fridge in the room. I would have stayed for the rest of my trip if provided.

Can't be helped but we had quite a few ants. I sprayed bug spray and they didn't come back. Not best shower.
Good location not too far to walk to the beach, bintang supermarket only 10mins aswell as other shops. Decent enough for couple nights.

Small bathroom but not an issue.
Staff was amazing and the place is really nice for the price you pay. Comfy beds, very clean room and a nice pool area.

Bit more attention to cleaning needed. No hello or interaction from staff Dogs barking next to pool early each morning
Good location with shops and restaurants nearby and 15 minute walk to the beach. Good size rooms and bathrooms and nice pool. Cleaning staff helpful and polite

The fact they didn’t offer food or drinks. We also had arguing couples right next to us who were shouting very loud, which woke us up throughout the night, but not the Hotels fault.
Very clean rooms, which were lovely and comfortable, brilliant size also. Pool was lovely and normally not that busy. The staff were also so lovely and helpful

Really think they should provide a top sheet for bed & not just the quilt cover. I was not pleased about the manager emailing me the second day saying I had to pay around AU$ 1.20 for cleaning a pillow case that I had damage with makeup. Normally if I dirty a pillow case I will wash it, which I did, the next day. I left it cleaner than I found it. I still gave them the fine as it was such a small amount. I can understand if you damaged something so badly it cannot be cleaned but this clearly could come out in the wash. We are in our 60’s and responsible people. Just thought it was unnecessary.
It was value for money. Close to shops & nice restaurants. Pool was good but need more sun beds. Room was big & bed was comfortable.

There was construction going on which started early although not the hotels fault. Also, the pool area was mostly blocked from the sun throughout the day so not great if you want to sunbathe. The hotel was very quiet which can be good if that’s what you want, but maybe lacking in a bit of atmosphere, will probably improve if restaurant reopens.
The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean with nice balcony and view of the pool. Can’t fault them to be honest, for the money it was great. Staff were very friendly. The location was close to plenty of bars/restaurants. Maybe a little off the central area I think? But we found plenty of places to eat. Don’t be put off by the dark road if you arrive at night, felt really safe always. We had a lovely stay!

Would have liked a fridge in the room but at least there is a communal one in the lobby if you need.
Great location but nice and quiet also. Nice pool and balcony. Everything was kept very clean and wifi was good.

Cushions on outdoor seats had mould, so many red ants on our terrace & by the pool, stains on the sheets, the bathroom had an awful smell which was like clogged drains, the WiFi was awful, the shower isn’t that hot.
overall the property is nice, rooms are new, big & modern. Pool is a good size with sun beds and has a terrace / balcony to sit on.
