I have no hesitation in recommending this guest house to anyone! My stay at Bukit Luah Sidemen was so much more than just a beautiful accommodation, it was combined experience of the authentic real Bali natural beaulty, positive energy and genuine Balinese kindness. I felt so much right at home! The connections with the nature, the hosts, and the other guests were inspirational and almost spiritual on some level. I couldn't get enough of the stunning views of the surrounding mountain & valley from my room and patio. Many thanks to the hosts who were so kind and helpful to me in every possible way. Because of this exceptional experience, Sidemen will remain my favorite region in Bali for a long long time.

The first night the wifi doesn’t work because apparently they were just changing it, but then the second night worked really well.

The location it’s amazing, the staff also and the breakfast it’s really good. I also had dinner one night( we spent 2 nights), and it’s really good and cheap. We stayed at the bungalow, the room it’s huge and really really clean! Big plus for the hair dryer and the big water machine inside. The view it’s also great, nothing to complain about our stay.

Amazing value!! Breakfast served every morning on the balcony with incredible views of the farmers fields and Mount Agung. Full breakfast menu with many options to choose from each day. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, we felt like we were at home here and didn't want to leave! Kadek was very helpful and accommodating. Great location to explore Sidemen, and the homestay will arrange a scooter for a very reasonable price. They also have a local driver Komang who can take you to other areas of Bali for a good price. Komang took us on a walking tour of the village and the rice fields which was a highlight of our trip and this was a very good price!! Beds have nets to keep out the mosquitos which is helpful. 100% recommend this homestay if you are coming to Sidemen! You won't regret it!

Best homestay we’ve ever stayed at, and we’ve stayed at quite a lot of them in Bali! The room was so clean and spacious, and oh boy the view! We ate all our meals here as it was raining a lot during our stay, and they were all deliciously and priced fairly. Made and her family took such good care of us and always greeted us with smiles. I already can’t wait to be back to stay here. Highly recommend a stay here.

A m a zing views from your bed and balcony! Very nice host, breakfast excellent and you can order home food at the property. 👌🏼 Bed has a bug net and was so nice to sleep to the sounds of the nature. They helped us with our laundry after a long travel, and we rented a skooter from the property and were very happy with it. :)

Perfect spot in the quiet part of Sidemen with very large room and bathroom and a great view. Breakfast is served when you want at your privat porch! also owners are very helpful with bookings, taxi, scooter rentals, places to visit etc. free water, coffee/tea and there’s also soap!

Our room was stunning! We had the yoga room which had a beautiful view, and breakfast was very tasty. They helped us with renting scooters and were very accommodating. Possibly our favourite stay in all of Bali.

The only suggestion for improvement I could make is a couch or lounge chair on the balcony for more comfortable viewing.

There's something magical about Bukit Luah. We spent peaceful hours on the upper balcony just staring at the valley and being amazed at the beauty and culture around us. Kadek and Made were perfect hosts and even arranged for a school visit and trekking through the valley. The food was wonderful too and we enjoyed all of our meals on the balcony. This place was the highlight of our three week trip to Indonesia and we can't recommend it highly enough. Wish we'd spent more time here and less in busy Ubud.

Amazing location, extremely clean, very warm and welcoming owners. They also organised a guide for us for a 4 hr walk in the villages around and also through the rice fields. This experience is certainly very authentic too and is a must try. I can definitely recommend to stay here.

It was perfect.

This place is truly incredible, the pictures do not even do it justice. I had the best time staying with Gede and his wife Made (who is also a wonderful cook). Kadek, who works for the family took me on tours through the rice paddies, to a waterfall and to the local market and was more than willing to answer all of my questions. I will definitely come back here and I 100% recommend other travelers to add Bukit Luah to their Bali itinerary.
