How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

nothing I can think of.
Everything was lovely and everywhere in the hotel was warm and cosy. Breakfast was excellent and dinner also. I was travelling for work and just selected your hotel because it was nearby. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come again. There was ample parking very near to reception. I hadn't time to use the leisure centre which was a pity but maybe next time.

Room was very hot -- maybe a waste of energy. When we asked for heat to be turned down, it was much better. The bathroom was not vacuumed or swept after night 1 & new towels were not supplied until we returned to hotel & lady in reception got some for us.
Breakfast very good & cooked fresh. Evening meals good also, but more choice for vegetarians (my husband can't eat meat for medical reasons).

The shower in the bathroom was not properly cleaned. There could have been a menu available in both restaurants.

No late night residence bar Besides the pool not much else to do for teenagers plenty of empty spaces for a games room though ie pool table etc

Parts of the hotel decor are a bit dated and found the bedroom very warm but didn’t negatively impact our stay.
Comfortable hotel, staff were all lovely, great food and a good location for exploring Wexford.

Rooms were lovely and v clean. However the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, we found it very hard and maybe in need of a topper . This is my only complaint.
Excellent facilities, lovely clean hotel. Great rooms and staff were superb, really friendly and authentic. Very peaceful. Breakfast was awesome . Highlight was dinner, steaks are amazing and great atmosphere in the Ivy restaurant.

Dusting in the bedroom could have been more efficient - cobwebs in the corners and fluff on the mirrors and picture.
The evening dinner was excellent - best sea bream I have ever had. Staff at the hotel were warm and friendly.

Once 4 people are swimming laps it makes the pool very difficult for leisure swimmers to use as you feel you are in the way. The fire alarm went off a 5am (which can happen anywhere). The lifts make a violent jerk when setting off or stopping which was a worry and one of the lifts broken down as we entered it (the doors wouldn't close)
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the proximity to the town centre and theatre is excellent. The reception has a number of seating areas to chill which was nice

there was nothing we did not like. We thought it would have maybe been nice to have a fridge in the room, and a plunge pool. The service and staff were fantastic. The gym is awesome and the swimming pool really good. The spa was also fantastic. A little note maybe to put beside the TV to remind customers to log out from their Netflix or prime account, and also a note about the room service in the book about the hotel
That everything was fresh and local. The service was very quick and staff extremely nice
