Very expensive, but it was short notice when I booked

Staff helped me out with a surprise in the room on arrival. Nice room, great location, top notch breakfast. Plenty of parking. Very expensive but the arts festival is on and it's the height of summer (not that you'd know from looking outside)

Requirement to pre-book Leisure facilities & then not succeeding despite trying 4 weeks in advance of stay. The fact that the hotel had these facilities influenced our booking selection. Disappointed that we missed out on this.

Bathtub/shower very narrow, can barely turn around, like standing in a canoe. Shower curtain sticks to you while showering. Eggs on breakfast buffet are rubber. Bacon over cooked. Would expect a fresh cooked breakfast for the price. Better breakfast down the road at Coco Cafe. Check-in at 2pm instead of 4pm would be much appreciated.

They do a fabulous job with wedding parties and receptions. Staff in every area are excellent.

Found it difficult to understand that it Wasn’t possible to get a baked potato rather than fries We ordered a bottle white wine on 2 occasions and it was Luke warm ended up drinking it with ice which isn’t ideal Also we were awoken by drilling and hammering at 8am on our first morning- when I checked at front desk they informed me they were refurbishing and offered to move us - we declined as we were leaving the next day - I struggle to understand why we were assigned the room first day when they had an option

Dining room very big and felt a bit like holiday camp. Would have been nicer if maybe sections partitioned off to make smaller areas. Food not as good as would have expected. Fairground next door wasn’t in keeping with whole area.

Nice hotel but very big and did seem a little bit impersonal. Lots of facilities and pleasant staff.

a lot of the downstairs was under construction. We were not told in advance that there would be only a restaurant a cafe option for dining. It was disappointing to not be able to access the library or other spaces for relaxation & casual socialization. The gym & pool were a little underwhelming, but very clean and well maintained.

Excellent breakfast, room service, and location. Great value all around for the price - food, service, ambience, location. Great seaside location. Would definitely come back here again! Staff were very friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to answer questions and provide great service.

No A/C meant open windows until the room darkening shades needed to be closed for the night. The room fan we requested helped, but it was still stuffy. No wall USB ports, so we had to share our limited supply of plug converters for the 5 of us.

Beautiful location at Salthill Beach, easy 30 minute walk to Latin Quarter for our dinner. Comfortable beds, large clean bathrooms with toiletries provided, good breakfast buffet, daily free activities (like wine and whiskey tastings). Front desk staff friendly. Early checkout room service breakfast and help with room issues (bringing a fan, TV glitch) pleasantly quick and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

The location was very pleasant, right on the sea front where you can walk for miles. Staff were all great. Car parking is below the hotel as well as at the back where the entrance is. There was plenty of space throughout the hotel, restaurant, bar and reception included. We had a good meal in the restaurant and there was live music in the bar afterwards. We enjoyed breakfast in bed and a leisurely check out.

The only problem was the time we were waiting for our dinner it was three quarters of a hour but we did understand,it is hard to get staff these days,over all we had a enjoyable stay.

The staff are lovely,hotel very nice,bed's very comfortable,rooms spotless,location excellent,lovely restaurants and walks plenty to do and the cleaning staff are excellent and very polite,would definitely be back again.

I did not like having a room that faced right out to the hotel entrance. Couldn’t open my window with smokers outside. And that view is not appealing. Also, the rooms need more usb outlets.

The waitstaff was lovely. The checkin staff saved my husbands life by loaning him some USB adaptors. Everyone was super friendly.
