Rooms were a bit old but clean. No air conditioning. Room very warm

Staff from the offset were exceptional. We could not fault the food. We had dinner and breakfast here. Nothing left on the plates once we were finished. There were seven of us.

The kitchen fans were just outside our room. Very noisy till they were turned off. But very comfortable other than that.

Stephen on Reception (bar etc) was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his multi-tasking skills (reception/bar/DJ/portering etc) were unparalleled - hopefully his skills are being recognised and are being adequately rewarded by the hotel's owners?!

Two windows couldn't be opened, however, once reported, maintenance opened one - though could have done with the second. No cover over peep hole on bedroom door. No drinking glasses provided, would have been ideal for water in the intense heat. Signage could be provided on departing lift to rear car park.

Room spacious and beds comfortable. Bathroom spacious and plenty of hot water. Shower hats would be ideal if supplied. Breakfast delicious, hot and plentiful. Dining room spacious and airy and no delay in service. Bar food equally delicious and reasonable.

Friendly front of house welcome and restaurant staff too. Hotel is close to Knock airport which was ideal for our early morning flight out.

Was given a twin room when I booked a double room ages ago. Was told that they knew they had over booked. It was busy as St Patrick’s day which was fair enough but we booked well in advance. No one mentioned the twin room at checkin until we got to the room and someone else’s bags were in there ! Told that was the only room. Noone on reception the next day as only there for another day couldn’t waste time waiting. Noisy fans and a security light on all night making the room light and not able to sleep. on checkout mentioned the room and all was said was sorry. We had already paid for the room before we went so couldn’t argue any kind of refund. Staff were nice but all very young and no offer of talking to the manager about the room.

Stayed 3 nights and found breakfast to be disorganised and of a poor quality.Staff at breakfast polite, but oblivious of customers needs and the order in which customers should be served. Many tables not set up for breakfast on arrival, and cereals and juices regularity empty and only replenished when we asked the staff to do so. Orders regularly incorrect. Bacon so hard and dry, it was inedible, scrambled eggs bland, greasy sausages uncooked in the middle, tomatoes cold and mushrooms were slimy and greasy. I wish you could book room only and not have to endure such a poor breakfast experience
