Our stay at Mizen View was extremely cofortable. If they could have controlled the weather, they would have. Myself and my daughter were met with friendly smiles and a tour on arrival and Karin and Reinhart were extremely responsive. Lovely views and a great quiet spot from which to explore Mizen head. Not far from the Mizen Head visitor Centre and also Three Castle Rock. We went for a swim in Barley Cove Beach. It was raining at the time but you'll get wet in the sea anyway. We also ate in O'Sullivans nearby. A lovely pub. We slept great. We would be happy to recommend Mizen vew.

Exceptional hosts that were so welcoming. A lovely touch with a happy Anniversary note to us and a birthday banner for my wife. They gave us a superb insight into the local area and the best places to visit to ensure we made the best of our weekend stay. The accommodation was immaculate and had more than everything we needed. Stunning location at a very reasonable cost. We won't look any further than here next time we want to visit West Cork again. Highly recommend.

Access is via stairs. The sitting area was small but ok.

A very comfortable two person apartment. There is a large bedroom with a super bed. A very well equipped kitchen/sitting are and a shower room. It was very clean and well organised. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable four day stay. The nearby hosts are lovely and very kind. I highly recommend a holiday in this lovely apartment, nested in the very beautiful west Cork landscape.

The weather! LOL

The property was perfect. The setting was peaceful and so so beautiful. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hosts could not have been nicer and had made sure that there was milk,eggs, tea, coffee and plenty of other bits and pieces in the kitchen. I can't reccomend this property enough! The hosts, Karin and Reinhard, provided what was probably the best accommodation experience of my life. The property is lovely and located in one of the most beautiful places imaginable. And Karin and Reinhard went over and beyond, including by directing me to all the best local attractions, to ensure that I got the most out of my stay. I cannot recommend Mizen View enough.

The apartment was perfect!! We found everything we needed for the two nights we stayed. The garden, terrace and bar/gym room were amazing! On top of it we had a fantastic view over the beautiful landscape of Mizen Head. Couldn’t ask for more!

Wonderful location in Cork county with a stunning view across to Mizen Head. The flat was clean, warm, with very good amenities and a comfy bed. Karin and Reinhard are wonderful hosts, making themselves available at all times and extremely helpful and kind, offering advice on where to visit on a stormy day! Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only watch would be the cottage's remoteness which might not suit everyone but for us it was ideal.

This was an exceptional property fully equipped and laid out to make you feel comfortable with everything you needed. The views were magnificent and we benefited from a warm welcome from the hosts who live on site. With access to a gym and bar area we were truly spoilt. Added to that the area of West Cork is truly beautiful with plenty of places to visit, walks to do and islands to sail to. Seeing dolphins, eating great food and generally relaxing made it a brilliant holiday.

The welcome was wonderful (even though we arrived very late). The apartment is perfect, homely and very well equipped. It is clean, tidy and very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for Karin, she and her husband are keen to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
