There is a big couch in the living room, which normally would be a plus, but the dining table size and overall space around it suffers because of that, so a little more space around the dining table would be great.

Our host was wonderful, very attentive and always available to help. There is parking space right next to the front door and the surroundings are super quiet. The place itself was amazing, clean and it had everything we needed.

A beautiful, cozy apartment located in the peaceful countryside. Martina is a splendid host; she makes you feel very much at home. She recommended nearby restaurants and her suggestions were spot on. The apartment itself was completely spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the pergola attached to the apartment was lovely; ideal if you wish to read outside whilst drinking tea like I did. My written praises alone are not enough for Riverside. I will most definitely return. The only negative was that I couldn’t stay longer.

Nothing, this was an ideal location for us and it had every convenience imaginable. There was nothing not to like

The lodgings were really comfortable, well equipped and private, just what my special needs daughter who is autistic and diabetic and I really needed. We were so lucky to get this private apartment with a: kitchen dinet, bedroom and on sweet shower toilet all to ourselves. It was within easy reach of our main interest: The Miltown Malby festival, amid lots of local attractions and our hosts whilst discreet, bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed to find comfort within. And of course my daughter loved their ornamental gardens: lovely flowers, owls etc etc. To my mind this is a hidden gem, totally suitable for any carer hoping to treat a vulnerable person to a home from home holiday in a nice quiet location. Everything was just right and easy to enjoy. Preparing a few simple healthy meals for ourselves saved us an absolute fortune too.

No TV in the bedroom, however limited wall space due to the bathroom door so this is very understandable. TV in the living room so a bedroom one was not really required. Meter requires top up if running low, and only accepts €1 coins, so perhaps plan ahead with that one. Shops available nearby (short drive) if not prepared for this.

Amazing location, spotless home. More facilities than you would ever need. Bed was extremely comfortable, as was the recliner couch. Wi-Fi was great, surprisingly enough, given the rural area. Host was fantastic, we were left undisturbed, however Martina was available should we have needed anything. 10/10, we will absolutely be back (if any availability!) Doonbeg itself is very close to some amazing locations, we felt we needed more time to see it all!

The apartment is in the countryside, a few kms from Doonbeg town, so it is necessary to drive to get to/from Doonbeg.

Very nice, spotlessly clean, small apartment. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Martina met us to hand over the keys, gave us some suggestions for restaurants, etc. She was very flexiable about check in/out times. A pleasure to deal with. Great location to explore south Clare - Kilkee, Loop Head, etc. Couple of very nice restaurants in Doonbeg town and a small supermarket which was great for picking up breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location for the west coast look around and our family history research. Lovely to be independent and cook an occasional meal. Very warm and comfortable. Good to be able to sit outside and enjoy some sun.

There's nothing to complain about.

The flat has all you need and is cosy and spotless. Martina is a lovely host, and very helpful. We wanted to relax and explore Clare, so this apartment was ideal, plus it's only a few minutes' drive to Kilrush. I highly recommend the place and would like to stay there again.

There was nothing not to like

The host is a beautiful lady , had home made bread waiting for us on arrival,, everything you need is in the bnb its like home home ,,, its 13 minute drive kilrush town witch is also beautiful,,and also 20 minutes drive from kilkee cliffs ,,,there is a shop that has everything down to a hot deli and only 3km away ,, 5 star for me ,,, Joe and jackie from dublin ,,,

Nothing all was lovely

The host was really helpful and friendly. Apartment was lovely and cosy, very clean and had everything that you would need in it. Kitchen was well equipped with fridge, microwave, oven etc. The host left us lovely scones when we arrived, nice touch.

Riverside was a little more isolated than we ideally would have wanted, but amenities were within a short car drive.

The property was excellently equipped with everything we needed for self catering. It was spotlessly clean and ver comfortable and cosy. Our host was very helpful and even had the heat in even though it was July as the weather was miserable.
