Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomGym doesn't open early enough, 7am is too way for me on a work trip, there is construction outside, which I understand but netting on the curtains would have been good so I didn't have to shut the curtains all the time for privacy.
Breakfast was great and liked the view, liked the Dyson hairdryer

United KingdomSome practicalities of the room could be improved. Our room was on the first floor so it wasn't pleasant to open the curtains due to being visible from the street on one side and building site on the other. A thin screen fabric on another track would've allowed privacy and natural light. Because of this, and the low lighting in the room, the room was quite dark. Small things like kettle cables not being long enough to reach the socket, and a chest of drawers behind the door and in front of another wall socket could be looked at.
Very stylish hotel. The staff and facilities were excellent. In particular the gym was very well appointed. Bottle boy bar and 6th floor restaurant had great atmosphere and good food. Great location for gigs at 3Arena. Bed was extremely comfortable.

United KingdomWe had booked for one night room only and enquired about breakfast and were advised that it was €20 each all in and was payable at the restaurant. on the morning of departure we decided to have breakfast but were then informed that it had to be booked at reception the day before if we wanted the €20 breakfast and we would have to use the al a carte menu which was actually quite expensive. perhaps an idea to highlight this on their website when booking.
The location was perfect for a concert at the 3Arena. Food in the Elephant and Castle restaurant was good and reasonable.

IrelandThe room lacked cleanliness. Glass rims on surfaces, crisps crumbs, visible soiling. More attention required to cleaning regime as it would put me off staying. The bar was very full after our gig, we would have appreciated if one of the areas could have been managed by security staff to have been kept separate for residents as we couldn't avail of a drink in the bar/restaurant due to concert goers taking up the seats and a large queue for bar
Loved the location for 3arena and restauaraunts onsite. Very nice lunch and brunch had in ryleighs. Bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the upgrade to a suite.

United KingdomSplit a little water on the floor of the room due to a very small bedside shelf. Cleaned up with a tissue only to notice hair and grime being picked up from the floor. Disappointed with an otherwise good experience.

United KingdomThe cosy room was small. Lovely interior and the bed was super comfy- I just wouldn’t pay more than what I did. Prices seem to fluctuate with this property and if I had paid more I would have been disappointed.
Loved the quirky aesthetic. Staff were so friendly fly and accommodating. The communal areas, pool and so on were so inviting. Amazing location whether your going to a gig in the 3 arena or not.

IrelandThere is a lot of construction nearby so it got a bit noisy from 7am or so. But it wasn't too bad.
Location perfect for 3Arena. Very helpful reception staff who assisted in getting us a table for dinner. Excellent bar facilities. The small room is fine for a 1 night stay but not for anything longer.

BulgariaThe room had no closet/wardrobe, only two sets of hangers with just two hooks. The bathroom's sliding door didn`t stay closed and I had to put a chair to hold it. The bathroom itself was huge but with very dim illumination - I had to use my phone`s torch for shaving. There were no rails or hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels. No slippers.
Good location near the congress centre. There was a variety of drinks and snacks in the minibar and a Nespresso machine. Restaurant with a spectacular view on the top floor. Tasty breakfast menu with additional payment.

United KingdomThe bed was squeky. We were put in the old part of the hotel which was nice but we prefer the new part of the holiday which would have been nicer as we were celebrating a birthday.
The outside Jacuzzi is lovely. It is the best part of the hotel. Having two restaurants at the hotel is also great as means you dont need to worry about taxis.
