Breakfast quality could be a little better (the selection however is vast).

Excellent service by the front desk, room service and housekeeping. We did the afternoon high tea which was delicious accompanied by friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful decor, enhanced very tastefully for the festive season. Room was well equipped and spacious with ample storage and some great detailed touches.

They said the menu in the restaurant was overpriced. there was no option to order à la cart restaurant. The hotel is slightly overpriced.

Truely 5 star hotel. Nice clean facility with with amazing deco. Exceptional Service. Great location in the city centre. Comfortable bed and large rooms. The pool and sauna are not overcrowded and do not need prior booking to use it.

Slightly uneven service from staff… marvellous service for dinner in Saddle Room. Erratic service at breakfast… frazzled staff. Getting a fresh cup of coffee proved difficult and comical in certain ways. I was unhappy that no one cleared away my one plate or removed the extra table setting. I had to ask! ( Christmas Day … I’m a bereaved woman dining alone.) That’s picky but this is a five star hotel.

The cleanliness and attention to details in our bedroom was poor. Duvet on back to front. Top tucked in at the bottom. Tea and milk not replenished.

Although the room was well appointed, the position wasn't great...thank goodness we weren't there in the summer with the Terrace Bar being right outside our window. The room was very hot...& no way of altering the heating/ air-con, on a very mild November weekend! Problems checking in...didn't have my reservation, but had our friends, strange as I booked them both !

Lovely hotel. Stayed at another 5* hotel in Dublin last time & this exceeded that visit. Breakfast was excellent. The staff serving were brilliant, especially on the first morning. And food in the restaurant was great..staff again were excellent.

Myself and my husband visit the Shelbourne every year , usually around Christmas/ husbands birthday.. the hotel is always excellent from the Vallet to check in and everything in between .

I felt the bedroom could have been better for the price of it. Now it was spotless and very comfortable and spacious but felt that shower in the bath even tho it was a power shower should have been separate. Other than this the bedroom was lovely and using all the elemis products.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. A bit overpriced but a great menu and great buffet and staff were so so friendly

The room was very cold and though we turned the heating fully up it didn’t seem to warm up. it was cold enough for us to be shivering unfortunately.

The hotel is beautiful and special. I’d stayed a few years ago on a press trip and really wanted to go back so very happy that I was able to do so and to bring my daughter for her first trip to Dublin.
