Nothing- it was great! Access is up some narrow stairs and there’s no lift which some people might struggle with especially if they have large/heavy cases.

Very charming place in a perfect location. The hostess, Rita, is super friendly and always on hand to help with anything you need. Breakfast on the balcony was delicious. Comfortable rooms, well equipped and excellent value for money.

Rita is lovely. Her place is in a perfect spot in the old town to eat well, swim often, explore everywhere and even enjoy some great views from your own room. The breakfast was incredible with crepes and homemade fig and orange jam (I'm still thinking about this), and fresh pizza dough with gorgeous cherry tomatoes and olive oil from her farm. Rita was always available and answered all my questions and was there when I arrived to draw me a map of her recommendations of the town.

The mattress was very soft, which we didn't find comfortable.

Rita was an absolute ray of sunshine, giving us some very useful local recommendations on arrival. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and the location in the old quarter was excellent. We enjoyed walking up La Rocca and a dip in the sea. The room was also very spacious with good views from the balcony.

Best place we have stayed in Sicily! Breakfast was all homemade with cakes, bruschetta and great coffee! Fresh squeezed orange juice, the best! Rita was very helpful with suggestions for dinner. Clean , wonderful shower , great mattresses. Could not be better! Highly highly recommended.

Central location, comfortable bedroom with bathroom, delicious home-made breakfasts, but most of all the warmth of Rita herself who went out of her way to ensure I had a fantastic stay, recommending places to visit and restaurants. I stayed a week and will return to Agrodolce for sure and wholeheartedly recommend it

Not a bad thing, but just a recommendation. Since the nearest parking is some 10minute walk away I suggest to pack light and leave what you don’t need in the car. Small luggage will also come in handy since there are some narrow stairs to reach the apartment which is on the top floor.

Nice bed and breakfast, with great location right in the center of old town Cefalu. Breakfast was exceptional, good variety also including some delicious homemade cakes. Rita the host is also very nice and helpful, she gave us very good recommendations on what and where to eat. Since the apartment is located in the old town where traffic is limited you have to park your car outside of the old town (some 10min walk away). Rita gave us detailed instructions on where to park and also went out of her way to explain us where we can park for free since it was November (low season).

A beautiful place with an authentic charme in the very heart of Cefalù. An old house, very (!) clean and well looked after. Most sweet terrace overlooking the roof landscape at breakfast. Rita is an attentive host, full of tips and recommendations.

Everything was exceptional. We are regretting we didn’t have a chance to stay longer. We decided to stay in Taormina for next two days and we are already regretting it. Agrodolce was amazing.

Rita is a wonderful and thoughtful host. We had the best experience here with her recommendations for food and things to do. Amazing location and comfortable room. The breakfast was very good. Loved the carrot cakes and banana breads.
