The apartment is reached by two flights of very narrow and steep stair, so despite its otherwise great qualities, if you have any mobility issues, this is probably not the place for you.

They didn't retract from our stay but just a couple of things would have been nice...1) give 2 sets of keys so that the group can split up and not worry about who has the key 2) the mattresses are pretty soft so if you're used to a firm mattress, you might not sleep as well, and 3) just an fyi, you have to go through the 1st bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom so put the early risers in the first bedroom

Friendly, easy check in with good communication throughout. Nice location in quaint Trastevere, and also close to the bridge for easily exploring the other side. Nice size bathroom, living room, and stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are good size with closets.

location is great. Nearby very good restaurants. Also easy to go round and about the city of Rome. We either walked for the nearby sites and took a taxi to get to e.g. the catacombes.

Wifi didn’t work in the bedrooms but did work in the main rooms - we were told it was because of the historic building.

Beautiful calm apartment in a historic tower, right in the heart of Trastevere. Spacious and nice décor. Air conditioning, washer and kitchen appliances all worked great. Despite being on a popular street the windows kept the street noise out. Was easy to walk to central Rome and the tourist sites. Owner was kind and provided authentic Roman restaurant recommendations.

The kitchen didn’t have a plug for the sink, so washing dishes was tricky, and we ran short on toilet paper.

The apartment is gorgeous! Right in the heart of Trastevere, near Piazza Trilussa. The pictures and description are very accurate. A quick walk across the bridge to Campo de’ Fiore. We had five people total, but the apartment could easily sleep 6. There is a bakery across the street, pharmacy a couple doors down, gelato shops, daily market very close, taxi stand a block away, and dozens of restaurants nearby.

Location. location. location! We didn’t want to leave - ever!!! Staying in a piece of history among everything you could ever want just outside your door. Steep steps would be difficult for some people. Bathroom is very narrow and a bit cramped but well appointed.

Unbelievable location. Walk to all the major sights. 600 year old building. Fabulous restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Very quiet and comfortable.

With being above a busy alleyway comes the sounds of nightlife that can go well into the late Night. But luckily it is quiet in the back bedrooms.

Location location location! So fun to stay above a quintessential cobblestone Italian alleyway with restaurants and bars up and down. Great space for a family of four and nice touches of a few snacks for the kids and travel books.

Awesome llocation in the vibrant and very lively location of Trastevere. Quite busy in the street But cool and quiet in the apartment. Clean and spacious. Perfect for a family or group of 4. The stairs to the third floor are quite steep so be warned if you are older folks. The amount of quality restaurants and bars in walking distance are overwhelming, so many good options here! The host is a lovely man with a very welcoming and kind demeanor. Would love to return again one day! 5 stars for the whole experience

Couldn't get the washing machine to work due to some issues with the electricity meter, but it was being fixed.

Lovely, light and very spacious apartment in the heart of Trastevere, close to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Spotlessly clean bathroom with a good shower. Small kitchen had everything for making simple dinners/breakfasts. Good wifi. There were a great bakery across the street, and a small minimarket just around the corner.

We loved everything!!! The only thing I would mention is that if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke, it's hard to escape when people are smoking beneath the windows in the evenings. We were usually able to air out the apartment in the morning by opening front and back windows. We should have asked for a small fan, perhaps. We had a wonderful stay (more than 2 weeks!)!

We loved this location in the middle of Trastevere, very close to the Piazza di Santa Maria. We could hear the bells day and night, which we loved. The apartment is spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quite lively after about 6:30 pm with people strolling or going for dinner, or eating at one of the cafes beneath the apartment. When needed, it was easy to close off noise from the streets below in the bedroom. We loved the ease of finding new eating places, hearing street jazz on nearby Ponte Sisto, or just fixing a light meal for ourselves in the cute kitchen. It was a wonderful launch point for all that Rome has to see! Antonella was a gracious host and we heard back from her immediately whenever we had a question!

This was our second stay at this property. It is perfectly located in the heart of everything. It is very spacious and the bedrooms are large. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and packed lightly knowing that we would have a washing machine to use. WiFi was strong and dependable. Our host helped us with many things including organizing a private tour guide and car services. She was great to work with! Highly recommended!

We had some bad luck with the electricity falling out as soon as we used the hairdryer, microwave etc. The upstairs neighbours flooded their bathroom and because of this we had a leak in the ceiling!
