The shower is really uncomfortable. There were several problems in the bathroom. The staff was aware but there was no possibility of fixing it during the stay.

Good location. Lovely walk across the bridge along the river. Close to tre cime but you need to book car parking in advance now and all booked up. There is a bus that goes there. Lovely old art decor style hotel with view onto river. Beautiful old pool table. Breakfast good value.

You can tell it's a bit dated, but it's clean. The rooms facing the street can be noisy if you want to sleep with the window open (think Giuseppe thundering down the street on his Vespa at 4:43). Power sockets in the room could be better placed.

Big parking, in the city center, pizzeria around the corner, decent breakfast. A couple was complaining in front of us that they did not like the coffee and the breakfast in general and they wanted to have it taken off their bill - not sure what the expectation is. Barista coffee at one of the cheapest hotels in the Dolomites? C'mon, it's meant to be a base for exploring the mountains not as a gourmet hotel. By 8.00 you should be at Misurina anyway, haha. The personnel was helpful, they let us park the car there for the rest of the day when we left which is good because otherwise the options are limited in Auronzo.

What was once no doubt quite a grand hotel is now a bit tired and run-down, the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but facilities were quite adequate and everything was clean. We found bed to be rather hard and uncomfortable, though linen was nice. Limited choices for restaurants nearby. Very good pizzeria right next door though. Be aware if you are travelling to Auronzo without a car, look carefully into transport options - we travelled to the area by the Cortina Express bus which drops you at Cortina d'Ampezzo - we found it difficult to get from there to Auronzo, we'd been told there was a bus but found out it was not a direct bus so had to take 2, going via Lake Misurina, this was a little difficult to navigate with luggage and on a wet, cold day with a long wait at Misurina between the two buses. Signs at the bus-stops were incorrect and as English-speakers we had trouble finding correct bus timetable information or anyone who could help us. Also bus coming to Auronzo doesn't always go to the stops at the end of town where this hotel is located so we ended up being dropped off a long way from the hotel and having to walk quite some distance. So check the details before you go!

Nice view of the lake with little balcony. Amazing location. Very helpful friendly staff. Nice breakfast included with plenty of selection. Clean and tidy. Very quiet at night. Spa bath in some rooms. Fresh bottled water - still and sparkling - provided every day which we appreciated.

The hot water ran out quickly. The breakfast was poor. The room was stuffy, and the window could not be opened because it faced a busy street.

The first hotel room we have received was extremely small and not at all as seen in the pictures. They have changed the room after we insisted. We actually considered leaving this hotel and moving to another one, but we were a party of 7 people (a total of 3 rooms) and couldn’t find 3 rooms for three nightsin such short notice and had to stay all three nights in the hotel. The bathroom is new and very nice(!) but there is a bathtub with the Jacuzzi and a plastic cage(!) in it, for showers, which is very strange and not really usable in our view. The elevator is very slow, but also very dangerous because there is no electronic eye that stops the doors from closing. Or maybe it just doesn’t work? Also the stairs, as well as the hallways, were dirty and have seen better days, probably many years ago. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, the breakfast room decor is modern and new , but service is bad. They did not renew veggies and cantaloupe. It was served but was finished when we arrived. And it took them a long time, sometimes by the end of the meal, till they renewed upon a few requests. In all three day!! Who does that?? We couldn’t help thinking that maybe this was on purpose. Also, we discovered that the coffee machine is with powder and not real milk and the reason we discovered it that we saw that in stead of milk comes out water from both machines. At first, we thought it just the machine cleaning itself. But after asking them to refill the machines and it happened again we asked if it is with powder or milk. By the end of the stay, after three nights, we learned to appreciate the benefits of the hotel, but this is definitely not a four star hotel, maybe a two star. This hotel has great potential, bathrooms in all three rooms are new and nice, views are amazing and the proximity to the lake is amazing as well, the billiard room and the bar are very nice and the parking lot is very comfortable. The room are hideous and mattresses are not comfortable

It is on the lake, very nice views from the room and easy access to strolling around the lake. Shower stream is very good and plenty hot water. They have a billiard room and a comfortable parking space outside. Upon request, they provided vents to the rooms . The stuff is very nice, especially Sarah from the bar.

The room has no balcony an NO air conditioning. We had very high temperatures and no chance to cool down the room. The beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable. The hotel was already really expensive and the extra charge for the dog was too much.

They‘re really dog friendly and the location is top. They offer a nice backyard and parking. The free billard table was very nice
