Spectacular hotel, impeccable service-- the best hotel we stayed in, during our entire trip to Italy

Roof top bar could have been open longer.

Superb staff, good breakfast, and great spa options. The room was comfortable, if there was a very limited view and some noise from the restaurant below (we were in room 7 on the second floor).

The staff in the hotel were very friendly and accommodating - especially the reception staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. There was only one staff member - the head waiter in the breakfast room who was very rude and was quite upset when I asked him if decaf coffee was available. He pointed to the machine and told me it was there. I looked again but it was not and asked him for his help. He became upset and sent me an empty pot to the table. There was a young girl who brought me an instant decaf. It was much appreciated. She wasn’t there the following morning and the head waiter was again very unfriendly so I didn’t ask for the decaf. Perhaps he is having some personal troubles which affected his behavior however if this is a consistent issue I would recommend that he is counseled to help him be more courteous to your patrons. It is a lovely hotel and we would consider returning!

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Bellagio with everything you need within a few metres. The ferry terminal and ticket office are opposite the hotel entrance. There are some very nice restaurants and places to have a drink nearby. The rooftop terrace at the hotel is a great place to chill and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was great too with a wide selection to choose from and beautiful views of the lake and mountains from the first floor restaurant.

We could not have asked for a better experience at Hotel Du Lac. We loved the hotel, and the staff truly made the stay so special. They went out of their way to be accommodating, offer suggestions and recommendations, and offer assistance to us when we were left in a transportation predicament as we departed, going above and beyond to help us out. We will forever be grateful to Daniele and the rest of the staff! We can't wait to return to Hotel Du Lac!

The hotel is lovely and in a fantastic location. The staff working at the hotel are exceptional and really want to provide a good experience and customer service. They helped us arrange a car service from Milan to Bellagio on a somewhat short notice. The room service was wonderful and the rooftop terrace bar is a must go with a gorgeous view of lake como and the alps.

Parking was difficult as would be expected in this area. Damaged rent car trying to get through the pedestrian streets downtown to get to the parking garage. Parking spaces in the covered garage were too small for our rent car. We did get parking in the outdoor open lot so everything worked out okay. Very stressful.

The elevator was not working for most of our stay but that was of little consequence as we were on a lower floor. It was working when we checked out which was nice.

The staff was friendly and professional, the location of the hotel was excellent and our room was very nice. We also loved the rooftop terrace for apperitivi.

We booked Hotel du Lac as the hotel for us and our family to stay at for our wedding. The staff were wonderful and accommodating the rooms were all a good size and the location is perfect. The spa was lovely and a great way for us to start the day on the morning of our wedding! The rooftop bar is fabulous for drinks in an evening and those views... Wow!
