The attitude of the breakfast staff- but understand that this is subcontracted and will be taken back in house next season. If this is the case then I can see that it will be managed with the care that the accommodation has.

A very special hotel- family run and you can feel that throughout. The room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Amazing view of the lake from the balcony

The property was modern & set in a great location from the ferry terminal. The staff were very welcoming from reception staff to bar staff. Overall a great experience.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The staff was so kind and helpful for weeks, even before my trip. Every day, each one knew every detail of my reservation and would ask how my massage went, etc. They helped make my trip extremely special. It felt like home. The location is simply the best as many other air bnbs, you will need to climb stairs. I'm already planning my trip back! I loved the restaurant, the bar, the views, the comfort of the room, the SPA and massage therapy were amazing. It would be lovely for a couple get away but I thoroughly enjoyed it solo! I felt safe!

the items in the room can be exact for the room members , not for every item call and request and even the water that we don’t have. But overall the staff reseption are great, thanks for the warm welcome ♥️

The only negative, we went to order some drinks to the room while we got ready to go out and they said it’s a 10 euro charge for room service. The hotel is only small and this was a disappointment.

Great location and amazing room with a fantastic view of the lake, we had traveled around Italy and this was our favourite hotel we stayed at throughout our trip.

The one thing I don’t like is the guy that taken care of breakfast line, he doesn’t want to clear the table in front of the window which it has good view… everyone come here to have a great view but why don’t you rush up a bit to clear it to have a better customer satisfaction

The location was great., very close to Bellagio ferry , best way to come here from Milan is by train to Varenna and take ferry to bellagio and the hotel will just be in front of you , the breakfast has enough varieties and have a good taste of croissant

Our room was beside the bar and a little noisey in the evening time . Also the shower wasn’t properly cleaned , had hairs all over the wall

We stayed at the Hotel du Lac in Bellagio for an anniversary trip. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly reception staff. Whilst we did not have a lake view room, but that did not make any difference as our accommodation was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very big for a European hotel room. The hotel's location made it perfect for exploring the town, within a few minutes walk of local bars and restaurants and right opposite the passenger ferry terminal which makes it perfect for exploring other towns and villages in the area.

Amazing property by the lake with very attentive service. The views of the lake are beautiful and the room spacious and comfortable. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in Italy. The restaurant is also great.

Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the view on the lake from the breakfast room. We would have liked more variety for breakfast. But this does not take away from how pleasant our stay was at Hotel du Lac.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel du Lac. The Staff was very attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable. The location was perfect to navigate the lake. The amenities very clean.
