Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomSadly lacked some comforts. Tea/coffee in room would be great and I do not see any reason as to why this is not available. Rooms are small but having said that our room was cosy,clean and I believe refurbished (201)
The hotel was located very close to the Trevi Fountain and within about a 20 min walk to Navona, Pantheon, Campo Di Fiori . Lovely staff. Clean rooms. Great location.

PortugalBeds could use some replacement, the mattress already shows usage. It is located near a heavy traffic road, so expect car noise. Wi fi exists but the connection is bad...
Location is perfect. Walking distance from Fontana di Trevi and ou can just keep walking anywhere. Service was good. Everything went well. A great value for money choice to be honest. They have a luggage storage.

The room (503) was comfortable and had everything you need - a comfortable bed, clean bathroom... Every staff member was very helpful and friendly. Location is great, only 5-6 min. from Fontana di Trevi, 8-10 min. from Piazza di Spagnia, lots of restorans, trattoria, gelateria, across the street is a good grocery store.

Excellent location. 10 minutes walk, at most to Trevi Fountain. Breakfast wasn't included, but the one we did have at the hotel was plentiful, very nice and good value for money.

ArmeniaRoom: There were no slippers or sleeping blanket provided, and no toothpaste or toothbrush was available. Breakfast: Communication with the cafeteria staff was limited as they only spoke Italian. It's recommended to arrive early for breakfast, as some items may run out before the end of the service, such as fruits, juice, and bread. Reception: Interaction with the reception staff felt impersonal and robotic. Room Cleaning: The room cleaner arrived to clean the room 30 minutes before checkout on the last day.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. The location was exceptional although it was a bit noisy outside. The rooms were small and needed a little updating. The bathroom also needed updating. There wasn't any place to put your belongings.

United KingdomThe room got cold in January but the heating worked pretty fast. The room was a bit dark. Maybe it was some construction that was going on (and I didn't really mind), but there was a lot of noise coming from the street all night.
Great location. Everything you may need in a room. And the staff was friendly and attentive! They also managed our requests swiftly :) Comfy bed and many pillows.

The location is great, only 5 mins away from Trevi Fountain, lots of restaurants, gelateria, money exchange, shops. 8 mins walking distance from Piazza di Spagna or Spanish Steps where the luxury shops are. 15 mins walking distance to Monument of Vittorio Emanuel. Also very close to train station. Elevator is small and only fits 2 ppl but it’s okay, since it comes fast and almost no line ever :)
