The breakfast was a la carte but more than enough and we weren't questioned if we asked for 2nd's. The location was outstanding. We walked to almost everything.

Water was not topped up and available in our rooms after room service which was a little odd. Not a big issue anyway as the rooms were always serviced really well. On our last night we were locked out of the hotel for five minutes - (was only 11:30pm), before the concierge serving that night noticed and let us in. It would have been fine if he had apologised but he did not which was a little disappointing and surprising.

Location could not be better. Right in the heart of Florence. Within walking distance of pretty much everything. Room was fantastic. Really spacious and classy. We had a 17th century original alfresco painting on our ceiling which was amazing! When we arrived the concierge was very professional and polite. He took out a map and he had a great understanding of the city. He recommended three restaurants (all of which were all superb). That worked out really well because it can be hard at times to know the good spots! Spa area is lovely. Nice bath and sauna and definitely worth a visit. Nice cocktail bar - both bartenders also very friendly.

On our last night we could hear people above till late night. Also, no way of calling front desk from the rooms.

Excellent service from the moment you arrive till you leave. Not one thing left unattended or to figure out. Centrally located, also provides recommendations for restaurants and local tours.

This isn’t a complaint but a feedback. we stayed on the second floor and we could hear the guest staying above us walking to and fro. Maybe this was because of the building materials used.

the location, the professional , friendly and knowledgeable staff another thing which was great was that the cleaner had the room cleaned when we went down for breakfast. This is not the case in many many hotels and we didn’t see the cleaning trolley parked in the corridor to the rooms, which is quite normal in many other hotels. A big plus 👍🏻

Room size. Looks bigger in pictures but little furniture and few outlets small portable type table in big bathroom instead of a real vanity. Again lack of outlets for charging was annoying - laid my phone on the floor to charge because it was that or unplug the lamp.

Great staff and location. A little pricey on extras coffee bar compared to other hotels I stayed at in the area. The room is nice but the size is small even for superior or deluxe ( I forget which it was called). I didn’t use the spa which might change my rating a little. The space is tight no real place to put toiletries and oddly a shortage of outlets to charge phone etc. Staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. - warm greeting on arrival.
