We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThere was no ease of finding transportation from the train station to the hotel. We were turned away from the restaurant and had to walk two blocks to get something to eat at night in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Also when I emailed about a shuttle to the port I was told there was none and I would have to book my own at my own expense. I found out there was hotel shuttles but you have to book a parking spot at the hotel. For a town that has a port for major cruise lines, they are not prepared.

United StatesWe had dinner at the restaurant one night - it was OK, not great, but one of our more expensive dinners in Italy strangely enough. Breakfast offered many sweet and savory choices including eggs and Italian bacon and a very pleasant, hardworking staff. The coffee in carafes wasn't very good, but then we realized you could ask for espresso and cappuccino. The hotel doesn't look great on the outside - no landscaping to speak of. Not much within easy walking distance.
Our room was large with a very comfortable king size bed, 2 chairs, desk, beautiful big window across the back wall with curtains that fully closed. There was a large closet and plenty of other storage. The bathroom had a big shower and a small countertop around the sink to put things. We used their laundry service and it was fine. Plenty of free parking and one electrical charging station.

GermanyBreakfast room and morning routine follows more a practical approach to serve bigger groups than to create a cosy or warm atmosphere for individual tourists or couples.
The modern hotel offers all you need for a comfortable stay. The room was very spacious and well equipped with lots of storage room. The reception staff was very welcoming and professional. Last but not least the hotel offers a big parking lot. The breakfast offers you all you need for a good start into the day.

CanadaRestaurant did not open until 7:00 pm. We arrived around 5:00 pm feeling very tired and hungry After travelling all day. We had to grab a taxi and go into City centre to find food.

United KingdomThe location for what we needed was good (getting on a cruise) but if we'd been staying more nights without a car it would have been a problem. Getting taxis is seemingly impossible, the hotel had private transfers to the port organised but hadn't picked up my email asking for a taxi to the port. Luckily they still had space in an earlier transport so it all ended up ok.
Hotel was nice, the food was good, room was nice, good selection of wine etc.

GermanyIt's quite far from everything. The hotel is standing little bit out of the old town of Ravenna. The furniture is moderately comfortable. For example, chairs are extremely hard.
There was comfortable bed and good breakfast. Also we liked parking our car right in front of the hotel.

FranceRadio station playing ads and loud auto tune computer music during dinner and breakfast. In-attentive staff during dinner. Food quality disappointing compared to the room quality. Breakfast options were only just OK. A smaller hotel in Ferrara even had gluten free breakfast and quiet music. Not having access to the dolly on wheels during check-in on an extremely hot day was disappointing for an older couple like us.
