The amazing breakfast and cosy rooms - very comfortable. We had a car, which is necessary if you want to explore, and drove 5 mins to free parking at the station in Signa. Trains into Florence took 20 mins and ran until late in the evening. The staff were very friendly and recommended some good restaurants nearby. Lovely weekend

Only downside was that it was a little bit too far to walk to the railway station but there's not much that can be done about that! Anyway the taxi service was very reliable!

It was further to the train station than we thought. You would really need a car or be prepared to pay between €15-€20 each way for taxi/shuttle

The staff was fantastic and kind. Nothing was too much bother. The studio we had was well laid out and had character. The beds were so comfortable. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with the woodlands and the lake. There is also a lovely pool area. Breakfast is a feast. The restaurant located at the Villa is 100% gluten free and the food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our Italian cooking class. They are a very environmentally friendly hotel.

Accommodation was great. The hotel has original atmosphere. In front of your apartment you have table with chairs, we had the last partment in row and therefore beautiful view in the nature. Apartment is very cosy, spacious and Tuscany-style furnished. Breakfat was one of the best we ver had :-) so many delicacies, local products and in many variations. If you are looking for some special experience, go for the breakfatst here. Staff was super friendly and with your leave you are able to buy local higl level cosmetict - I recommend - we bought cream, soap and hand creams (small gifts) and the owner-lady give us the car fragnance like a gift. With every moment I feel now the Tuscany stay from this hotel. In this hotel you feel, that the staff likes to care about you.

Spacious room and comfortable bed about 25 minutes from the airport. The hotel is outside the city in the quiet countryside. A delicious breakfast buffet and very friendly, helpful staff!

Apart from the very high class restaurant on the grounds, it was a car ride to find any other places.

Beautiful artist themed rooms set in the countryside near Signa. Breakfast was a delight and staff very attentive and friendly. Pool area restful and easy car parking. Nice walk to a lake nearby.

It’s a lovely quiet country hotel near to Florence, Railway station nearby to travel into the centre including advice on how to get there, where to park and they provided a map and advised on where to go.

The aircon’s temperature in the room is controlled from reception, which closes at 8 pm. So if we got hot or cold, we couldn’t do anything about it. And it also went out of sync with the computer so it turned off during the night and we couldn’t sleep from the heat. Since windows couldn’t be open because of mosquitoes, it really was an unpleasant evening. The shower in the room was very small, we kept banging our elbows. One of the cleaning staff would leave the windows open after cleaning our room, which meant mosquitoes in the room. We got lots of bites while sleeping. The room was also very dark, even during the bright sunny day. I think it’s a feature of Tuscan houses to have small windows, but then the lighting in the room could definitely improve. Also, the stopped in the bathroom sink got stuck one night and we couldn’t use the sink until next morning. Apparently it wasn’t the first time it had happened. Lack of storage in the room was also an issue. Apart from a small wardrobe, there were no drawers to stored your clothes.

The views, the location (we had a rented car, so getting to places in Tuscany wasn’t an issue), the lovely and helpful staff, amazing breakfast. The restaurant was a highlight. The pool, although small, was a lovely addition and I especially liked the lounge chairs, very comfy and high quality. The decor in the room was so beautiful. We loved the exposed beams and the art work.
