The A/C unit was controlled centrally so for most of the time it was on 'fan only' mode, which was frustrating in the hot weather.

The location of the hotel was spot on. Close to the Duomo (obviously), Uffizi, bridge across to Palazzo Pitti, all within a few minutes' walk. You really felt you were in the heart of this beautiful city. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop nearby. The breakfast was outstanding with hot, cold, sweet, savoury, gluten free and vegan options with a terrace outside. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with a refreshing hot shower. The staff were polite and welcoming and reception is manned 24/7. We would definitely stay here again - the location is a winner.

Perfectly located hotel near to the train station (walking distance) and only steps away from the heart of Florence. The breakfast is very good with a wide variety of options. The room was good but a little tired. The staff were excellent and only to eager to attend to your needs. Pleasant people.

Amazing location and a fantastic view from our window. Extremely central - the Duomo is at the end of the road about 2 mins walk away, so perfect for our quite stop whilst inter-railing. Staff were absolutely lovely, room was spacious with a dressing area & plenty of space for cases. Breakfast was great too

La tassa de soggiorno. On municipal website says the tax should be 4 or 4.8 per day and they have a sign on their desk saying it is 7 euros per day. So we were charged 7 euros per person, for each day.

This is an excellent boutique hotel in a superb location, just a stone's throw from the Duomo. The room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, quiet (even though facing the street with a nice view). AC worked very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooftop breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of baked goods, fruits, scrambled eggs and sausage, etc. Very good coffee. And the view of the Duomo and surroundings is a knockout. My wife and I enjoyed coffee on the rooftop and waved to our grandson, who had climbed the Duomo. It's hard to imagine there's a better hotel in the area.

The service, especially the front desk staff are amazing. I would say that the service provided by the hotel staff exceeds some 5 star hotels that we have been to in the past. Whenever we are in Florence again, this would be our top choice. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and colleagues in the future.
