Lo Scoglio is located on a beautiful beach. The room we stayed in had a huge sunny terrace overlooking the ocean. The restaurant was outstanding, with fresh seafood and homemade pastas. Lo Scoglio is run by a family and it shows in the warmth of the staff. The breakfast has great variety, including excellent pastries and fresh fruit.

Location is absolutely amazing, the hotel is located on the beach in a beautiful bay. Stone beach makes the water clear and clean, no sand in your beach bag what so ever, perfect! The hotels beach employees does the best job keeping track of the hotel guests at the beach and remembers your favorite spot! The hotel staff was very helpful and honest to us. We had an amazing room with a terrace facing the beautiful ocean.

Breakfast was, as expected, a typical Italian spread of sweet cakes and sweet pastries laid out on a table. Coffee was good, but you had to find someone to make you an americano or espresso each time you wanted more. Other than that though, we had a lovely time.

Beautiful clean rooms and nice secluded location away from the tourist traps of towns further down Amalfi coast. Super quiet. Great balcony with lounge chairs.

Breakfast was just about adequate. Limited choice Cheese/ham etc. Left on table in ambient temperature far to early causing food to spoil. Lack of staff at breakfast time making it difficult to get any kind of service. No staff available to check us out on leaving (9.30). Somebody had to be woken up to check us out.

The position of the hotel on the beach and the views from our room. Food in main restaurant was very good with attentive staff

Far away from highway ( 1 hour on narrow mountain road). No Wi-fi internet available, no safe lockers, even if on booking com was specified that they are in rooms, no diversity in breakfast ; sunbeds and umbrella offered, but boys on the beach lack courtesy, crowded pebbles beach, polluted water with many yachts arround. Very noisy at night, until 2-3 AM, people party at the restaurant under guest rooms, good quality restaurant but expensive.

Beautiful surrounding, basic room with a sea view , cleanliness OK, proximity of restaurants and pizzerias in the area, good A/C, bus station nearby.

The staff could have been more hands on

I think its the best location on the cove. The food was excellent, fresh fish brought in everyday.

A "do not disturb" sign for the room would be nice. The cleaning staff had a tendency to walk in without knocking -- I think they didn't expect us in the room past 10am! Usually a small yelp of alarm was enough to stop anyone coming in (and retreat with a polite apology), but this happened pretty much every day we were there. Door was locked, too. Not a big deal, but after the first time it becomes a bit odd!

The whole visit was very relaxing. Delicious food, super nice hosts, clean room, and could almost throw a rock to the sea from the balcony. Not posh, but quiet and peaceful and out of the way. Good location for just gazing at the sea or going for a walk.

If I had to find one thing it's breakfast. Just a little more variety would be nice. Otherwise super.

The family running this hotel is wonderful. They were extremely friendly. Played with our son, fed him at their family table. It was just super. Even their dog was great!!! The location right on the water is terrific...falling asleep to the sound of the sea is priceless. Thank you!!!
