Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Location is suberb, just away from the huslte and bustle of Ravello's main square. The views from the restaurant is out of this world. Service at the restaurant was excellent.

Very warm and friendly staff, helped us to introduce the facility, parking car, and helped us to book some nice restaurants. Location is also amazing, minutes away from train station.

We visited this hotel for our anniversary in March and it exceeded all of our expectations. The rooftop was stunning and we enjoyed a few spectacular sunsets. The room was just right, with a lovely view and complimentary bubbles to celebrate! The area itself is exceptional - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit with little difficulty. The hotel itself is very well-presented and the breakfast was good. We did experience a very minor mishap with a damaged item, but the manager of the hotel went above and beyond to rectify the situation. He was very patient, kind and understanding. The entire staff at the hotel were a pleasure. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommended it, especially to couples!

United KingdomNothing I really did not like about the Palazzo Gaddi. The only small annoyance was that fresh bath towels every day were placed in the wardrobe and not the bathroom. Without looking I would shower when I got in, and then have no towel at hand...
Location of Palazzo Gaddi is excellent. Less than 5 min walk from the station and 10 min walk to most attractions and restaurants. Breakfast and bar were excellent. I was also wished happy birthday by the breakfast maitre d' and given a small breakfast birthday cake! The bar staff very friendly and concierge and reception very helpful in organising transport for me. The evening gourmet restaurant is also sublime, especially when you want a change of the "typical" Italian dishes outside. Great view when you are enjoying your drinks on the roof!
