It’s a bit expensive for what you get in the end. If you get a room on the road side (going up to Taormina) it can get busy and noisy sometimes.

Located just below Taormina and that’s the best thing about it - the nearby village is small, but you can find great restaurants and cafes there without any tourists. You can walk there (and to the seashore) by foot. The rooms were nice and clean, and the entire atmosphere of the villa was remarkable.

I cannot recommend enough , everybody was so friendly, helpfull and efficient . Guiseppe is a great host . I have only left and I miss Giovanna already with her wonderful voice singing as she works nothing is too much trouble for her she is an Angel . Also Gorgio the night porter with his insight into Sicilian economy.Great breakfast choice and wonderfull views . I will return. Caoi

I booked my last night in Sicily here to catch an early train. I mentioned this on arrival and that I would have to leave before breakfast started. When I got up the following morning I found a jug of coffee and some pastries set out just for me. Very good!

Everything perfect and as expected.

This is an absolutely cosy small hotel, with a paradisic garden and a well maintained, clean pool, a wonderful view from the hotel over Taormina Beach and the mountains. In a few minutes by car, you are up the road in Taormina city, in few minutes down at the beach. Personnel is ultra friendly, once even prepared an extra table for our daughter and the daughter of other guests, which they enjoyed greatly. Breakfast was delicious and provided a good selection. Our room was modern and well taken care of. Our favourite beach nearby was the Isola Bella Beach, around 10 minutes away by car.

Very kind staff, specially Guiseppe that helped us and gave us info and tips. Nice breakfest and the lady in the morning at breakfest was always nice and sometimes singing and also reminding us to smile :-). Absolutely a place I recommend.

The only downside was the location because there was no place we could safely walk to and we had to arrange taxis for 5 of us everywhere we went.

Sea view from terrace where we had breakfast & drinks. Lovely swimming pool. A 10 minute walk to the bus stop to Taormina (€3 return), & the seafront where there is a sandy beach, several restaurants and bars. Close to Taormina rail station (Naxos Giardini) €15 taxi.

We felt it would have been beneficial for the hotel to run a shuttle service up to Taormina itself as it was a good 20 euros each cab ride and the same on way back, the buses were unreliable so it was our only mode of transport . Some coloured pool towels would have been of assistance Maybe a food service at night would be helpful in case you didn't want to go out as there was very little in the direct area other than another 40 euro taxi trip return

the breakfast and room was great and the hotel had a very friendly atmosphere Pool was gorgeous and the pool temperature was perfect , the overall feeling was relaxed and not too touristy , the property had a nice open garden to enjoy and didn't feel too busy even though it was full.

Nice views from our room. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (special mention to Giovanna & Giuseppe), overall the hotel had a lovely family vibe to it. Breakfast was great and the hotel was only a short walk to Taormina Train Station and the beaches in Naxos.

it's a beautiful Italian villa! the location was a great option especially if you have a car .. can drive up to town of Taormina or walk down to seaside village. it's like something out of a 1950's movie! we loved the family dog who is always at reception.. and AMAZing breakfast and setting.

It was so charming. A short walk to the Mediterranean Sea and a variety of seaside restaurants. The art, decor and artifacts inside the villa created a unique gallery. The pool and eating areas were comfortable and cozy. The breakfasts were delicious.

Stated location was around 3-5 k from Taormina up a very steep and winding road with no footpath or street lighting. So if you did not have a car it was a Taxi ride of which there seemed to be few and far between. So on a night out you needed a designated driver if you had a car.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for us so kind, arranged taxis, recommended great restaurants, showed us places on maps.. hotel is spotless, beautiful, antique filled, authentic Sicilian, roomy, friendly. And Nerina the friendly hotel dog made it perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about this small old fashioned boutique hotel. The staff made us feel comfortable from the second we arrived until the moment we left. Spent three nights, enjoyed their fabulous breakfast buffet, one of the best we’ve experienced in Italy, a full breakfast not just sweet breads and juice, but eggs and meats and cheeses etc etc. Bar service at the pool was a nice romantic touch. Just a minutes walk to the bus stop to pick up inexpensive bus to Taormina if you don’t have your own car. Great pizzeria within walking distance if you choose. If you require hi tech modern gadgets and such in a hotel, then this might not be right for you, they had a rotary dial phone in the hallway and lots of cool antique furniture, grounds were a step back in time with statues and fruit trees. The staff were always asking if everything was ok or if there was more they could do. I felt like a billionaire staying at a $1500 per night palace, when it was in fact a very reasonably priced hotel for everything they offered. The place is a Time Machine back to what I imagine it would have been like in 1960, really nostalgic and cool.
