€50 for beach sun loungers and umbrella was expensive, and the room was expensive, but these are the prices you pay for this time of year in Sperlonga.Would have liked a kettle in the room.

Pool area, clean rooms, lovely beach and great location. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the Rituals toiletries.

Some sign posts near the hotel would be helpful to find hotel when walking from the bus stop ie there is a foot path direct to the hotel from Roma rd - a sign post would have been helpful

Great location. Just down the street from the lower part of Sperlonga and the beach and a close trek up the hill to the old Sperlonga. Helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Room was clean and modern. Great variety at the breakfast buffet with a huge selection of pastries.

The toilet facilities at the beach bar should be cleaned more often and checked for paper and soap etc. Very frustrating when you are at a beach and can't go else where

The hotel was great - clean, spacious and staff were very friendly and able to help out with english/italian! The breakfast was included and was amazing with so many options! They offered a shuttle bus to their own beach for a fee - we did not use this service. They also have a great pool area which we did use. The hotel location was good in terms of walking to a different beach, shops, restaurants and up to Storico Centro.

The shower was in a huge bathtub that was difficult for us as older people to step over to get into and out of, and there were no grab bars for assistance.

A very nicely designed hotel with large outdoor patio seating areas, including a swimming pool. Only a few blocks uphill from the main town, restaurants, shopping and public beaches.

Beach life is very organized and the various hotels in Sperlonga have their own sections where you have to pay and they have sunbeds and parasols almost everywhere. There are public areas at the beach too and they are ok, but we come from a country where beaches for the most part is for everyone and not private enterprises.

We traveled two adults + 4y/o and Virgilio hotel and Sperlonga was a wonderful experience. We tried the pool at the hotel and it was a great place to have a swim, play, or just relax in the sun. We also went to the Virgilio beach area which is about 800m from the hotel (they have a shuttle but we prefer to walk) and it was magnificent and well worth the price. Great sandy white beach for children to play and swim, the water is quite shallow until you get about 60m out. You'll get a sunbed and a parasol close to the water. Virgilio has a beach restaurant there with good lunch meny, and you can buy drinks, ice-cream etc. Facilities also include fresh water showers and friendly service. June is not too busy and the beach and Sperlonga town didn't feel crowded. From the hotel to the old part of Sperlonga is about 10-15 minute walk, here you'll find some good restaurants and cafes, and some nice shops and a very Italian atmosphere. The old town is small but very charming to walk around in (just don't bring a stroller). We found everyone to be very friendly and helpful, in the town, at the beach and especially at the hotel.

The private beach is far Away approx 2 km. The beach area is very good still some working in progress. They charge you for the pool s towel unheard of on a 4 star hotel. The external structure needs some maintenance. The staff very friendly and efficient

We were very disappointed that the pool was being maintained and we didn’t know ahead of time. We were also without Wifi which was fine but when asking about it, the staff member was passive and didn’t offer any explanation. Another staff explained more thoroughly. When it came to the breakfast, the hot food was not replaced often. It ended at 1030am and at 9am there was little to no eggs or bacon.

We liked the location, it was close enough to the beach and seemed safe. The view of the sea and town was awesome! The room was very clean and a nice size! The restaurant breakfast was good variety and the fresh pastries were nice. The fridge had complimentary drinks which we appreciated!

The standard room was really too small for us. Especially the bathroom. Also, with the COVID issue for the last 18 months, I would have thought that all the maintenance would have been up-to-date. There were many pool tiles separated from the bottom. Generally, I think attention to the details of everything being in good working order would have been a plus. When we arrived, the elevator from the below ground parking garage was out of order. There was no sign indicating this downstairs, but on the main floor there was a sign. Not really helpful after you pulled into the tight parking garage and unloaded the bags. The first room was small, especially the bathroom. The staff got us into a deluxe room which was much more accommodating.

The staff was very accommodating. Although not right on the beach, they did have a shuttle that basically ran all the time. The location was great, quiet but only 100m from the Main Street where all the restaurants, shops, and public beaches are. Their beach was very nice, clean, and they had a nice restaurant and bar which were very tasty!
