Clearly not the owner's fault -but the main road towards Port Antonio (~10km between Long Bay and Boston Beach) is in a rough condition. Hence, it takes some extra time (+ ~15min) to get here, which should be considered for grocery shopping.

Very nice place (we rented all 3 rooms) in a really great location with a super-nice view across the ocean during dawn. The kitchen is great and we did some cooking here (necessary utensils were available). All in all a great experience in this relaxing house. Also, the hosts were very nice and helpful (e.g., we forgot a personal item when we left and the host was kind enough to help us out by sending it to a packing station at the airport). Thank you!

The place was great the road getting there was not driving from Kingston was hard there is more pothole on the road than anything I've ever seen in my life

we liked everything at this place. However Jamaica has powercuts and bad road infrastructure. But we saw they building roads at a faster pace

We had all the amenities they described in the ad. the whole property is on a raised elevation with a clear view of sea from the bedroom itself. The most amazing thing we liked about it was that it blended right into the landscape and felt right at home

We really enjoyed waking up in the morning to the sight and sound of the sea. Long Bay beach is five minutes away and great for a long walk on the beach. The place was super clean and the bed was very comfy and you have everything you need there. It's very therapuetic. It was a pleasure to meet Lars. Only issue was the roadworks going on at the moment which make it take a little longer to reach Port Antonio if you want to go into the town.

As a Jamaican, the restaurants are bit pricey.However,the option is there to take food for cooking.

The location was excellent. Cabin very clean,and comfortable. Scenery was very beautiful and therapeutic. I love the fact that there is a kitchenette!!!

It is a bit far from Port Antonio town so if your going to grab cooking items get them there not much shops were open but we visited on New Years Eve so that may have been the reason. I have no bad review for this place.

I loved everything about this short trip. Don’t even hesitate when booking from the location to the views and the aesthetic. If you want to wake up to the sound of the waves hunny this is the place. We attended a New Year’s Eve party that was held by the locals and dined at the restaurant in Boston. Top Tier ‼️‼️

The power went out on the last night of the stay due to heavy rain. We found some water outside for a shower in the morning and kerosene lamp so was part of JA experience for Long Bay residents. Mosquitoes - do bring repellant and buy some coils.

The view is amazing, lovely balcony with hammock. Everything works well Wi-Fi, tv, hot water shower and cooking facilities. Great books and lovely decor. A short walk from Long Bay which has eating places and a grocery store.

Well to be honest,the house was not clean to my suit(i got a dirty bathroom and cobweb all over to begin with)and that was a major turn off for me.definitely was a turn off for us but it was rectified in the morning. My husband and i are looking forward to going back there soon(hope we'll get a discount on our next trip to compensate for the inconvenience of our first night there. You can contact me. Oh and i must say we love the location,it's really a home away from home.100%🙏🏽

It's very confusing which room you actually booked. Photos on booking com are mixed. There are three different rooms for rent (if I'm not wrong) with different price and it's not really clear which one is yours. Platform call it "holiday house" so you could think it's even all property for you but that's not true. The best room is placed on the top but it has a shared kitchen what can affect a little bit of your privacy (but nobody been there during our stay except the owner to say hello). Before you book, ask!

Wonderful view!!! Very comfy and big bed, nice shower, very good air conditioning, super cool terrace. You may need a car to get there. The place is peaceful, free from turist (traveling May) but you can still find a bar, shop and restaurants nearby.

The WiFi was not working the whole time. I had to hotspot my phone to the TV. But the TV was a good quality which allowed the connection no problem. The apartment had a passage which led downstairs to bedroom and bathroom and the sign said this area would share our kitchen. When we realised this we called the host to check, because if this area was occupied we would not have completed our stay, but it was empty so we had no problem in the end.

We spent a short honeymoon here, the morning sunrise straight from our window was so nice. The view over the ocean was amazing. The breeze was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge full of different beverage!! They allowed us to bring our puppy, which we loved, and he got on well with the neighbour dog. The shower was hot and strong. The apartment was decorated to a high standard, very modern, simple but cosy feel to the place. Could do with door mats for feet, and a broom but we asked the host and got one. The location was a short walk to the beach in a quiet hillside area, some construction going on but nothing to disturb us, neighbours were friendly.. We would definitely stay here again!!
