Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicI had the opportunity to spend a night in a Bedouin tent on the Wadi Rum desert, and it was truly a unique experience. The Wadi Rum desert is known for its stunning natural beauty, and staying in a Bedouin tent was the perfect way to immerse myself in the local culture and traditions. The tent was comfortable and cozy, with traditional Bedouin furnishings and decorations. The bedding was comfortable and warmth during the chilly desert night. The outside area had a beautiful view of the desert landscape. The highlight of the stay was the food. The Bedouin hosts prepared a delicious traditional dinner with local ingredients, including chiken, rice, and vegetables. The meal was accompanied by freshly baked bread, which was made in a traditional oven in the desert. After dinner, we gathered around a fire and shared stories while sipping on traditional Bedouin tea. Overall, my one-night stay in a Bedouin tent on the Wadi Rum desert was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic desert adventure. The hospitality of the Bedouin hosts, the delicious food, and the stunning landscape all made for an incredible experience.

United StatesIdeal place for an authentic Bedouin experience In Wadi Rum, you will find many desert camps. But only meteorite Camp and a few others are in the protected area, truly in the desert, to experience real Bedouin hospitality and experience. In the morning, you wake up and can admire a breathtaking view from your bed. All meals are freshly prepared with typical foods. In the evening, the traditional Zerb is prepared, with vegetables and meat cooked underground. Chats around the campfire and dancing close the evening with the Bedouins. A jeep tour in the desert is a must Awad is an excellent guide and will show you every secret of the Wadi Rum desert. He speaks excellent English and is a caring and friendly guy. All this, while guaranteeing the total comfort of a modern and well-organized camp, completely eco-sustainable through solar panels. In short, the best camp in all of Wadi Rum

New ZealandOur stay at wadi rum was exceptional from start to finish. Great communication from our host before we arrived. The host was waiting for us in the designated meeting / parking spot and took us on an awesome jeep tour. The camp itself was newly renovated and extremely clean. The shared bathroom facilities were some of the best we’ve had in Jordan - and lovely hot showers. The chef and food were 10/10 - could not have asked for better. A really fantastic experience that everyone should book!

OMG, soooo good. Last but not least, the experience around the camp fire at night was unforgetable! Oh .. and the view is stellar! So, we 100% recommend the camp and the very special people there. GermanyNothing, everything just perfect.
Wonderful small bedouin camp in the middle of Wadi Rum desert. Authentic tents with comfortable beds and lots of space inside. Beautifully designed and constructed camp area, clean and spacious toilets and showers even with warm water. Evening talks at the campfire, very delicious dinner and rich breakfast. Even had the pleasure to play one round of chess with our bedouin guide Awad. He and the rest of the people at the camp are so kind, helpful and friendly. The camp itself oversees a large part of the desert and it was possible to take great long exposure shots of the starry night sky with my camera.

ItalyThe full day Jeep tour they offer was also a huge trip highlight and the traditional food provided was delicious!! We spent the nights sitting around the camp fire while our new Bedouin friends told us stories, fun facts, danced, star gazed, took awesome long exposure shots, sung and showed us how loud and echoey the desert is! Normally the saying goes ‘if it’s too good to be true, it probably is’. This is the only case in my experience where the experience was actually above and beyond what I expected, and I would recommend this camp to anyone.

The area around this camp is really nice, there is a mountain with some caves that you can explore on your own. Thank you so much for this nice experience and showing me more about the real Bedouin life. I will definitely come back!

Camp site staffs were also awesome - great dinner followed by a relaxing evening chatting with other tour mates around the fireplace. United StatesAmazing experience, I couldn’t recommend it more. Everything was perfect. I did the full day tour in the desert and loved it. Our guide Abdullah was great: he walked with us, gave us explanations, took photos for us. The whole day was just a surprise after the other. At the end of the tour we arrived at the camp which is in the best location: at the base of a mountain with a stunning view of the desert. The tend was nice and cosy, and the restrooms are new and very clean, with nice showers with hot water. My favourite part was the common tent where we had dinner and the cave. Yes, there’s a cave! They showed us how Bedouins cook and we enjoyed a beautiful dinner together, followed by some chats around the fire in the cave and watched the stars. The most incredible experience ever!

Dinner was amazing, cooked by the chef in traditional bedouin way, and the main tent and cave with fire are perfect to spend the night around the cave with stories from bedouin life by the owners. And staring at the starry sky was unbelievable too.
