There were not many amenities in the room. We had to bring out own toilet paper and soap. We had to ask to turn on the AC, which they gladly turned on for us and left running for most of the night.

The staff were very welcoming. We were the only guests at the camp. The four-hour jeep tour from the camp was amazing. The food was good, and after dinner, the camp served us tea under the stars at night. Each cabin had a picture window with a beautiful view and a private bathroom including a shower with good water pressure.

All great, the staff took good care of us, not pushy, or intrusive; Tomas was great, he communicated with us prior arrival, joined us in camel and jeep tours that we booked with the Island Camp (good choice!) and helped us with info and his personal experience in Wadi Rum desert: thanks man! Great food also, breakfast and dinner (we had Zarb an more), very tasty and part of it was from their own bio products; tea, coffee, water, any time and free of charge. The camp is easy to reach by car (if you travel by rented one), but in the same time is well isolated from other camps, not in the way of jeep tours or busses (!), so it gives you a good vibe of the desert, without noise pollution that takes place in bigger camps. More to say, but to cut the story, we had two great days in Wadi Rum!

They are very friendly people. They picked me up from the visitors center and dropped back when I left Wadi Rum. İn the morning they serve a Bedouin style breakfast which is very tasty 😋 and I joined their Jeep tour it was fantastic I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you again!

Our stay in Rum Island Camp was just perfect. The place was warm, cozy and comfortable. Meals prepared by great chef Abu Tunis were delicious. We highly recommend jeep tour on Wadi Rum. It was just amazing-our guides,especially Abu Tunis cared so much to give us special experience and it was such. We couldn't find better place than this camp to discover beautiful Wadi Rum Desert.Thank you so much,Abu Tunis and all the crew!

The stay was lovely! We enjoyed it alot especially for the hospitality of the owners! They had everything prepared for us from tours to a beautiful authentic dinner! At night we enjoyed some music and gazed at the starts. The place is located between beautiful mountains excluded from the the lights. The view from the room is breathtaking!! We really had a blast at wadi rum Thank u jalil!!! We will definitely be coming back!!

A bit basic, of course no AC, that can be trouble during the day and in hottest months

The place is basic, we were the only guests. But the experience was quite pleasant, and special mention for the very nice dinner we had. The lamb was tender and lovely. Also we forgot a camera in the room, and they immediately contacted us and kept it safe till we could return to retrieve it. For that they get a deserved 10!

Everything was perfect

If you want to spend the night in the desert, with native people, without crowds and fantastic food, this is your place! I went with my wife for the desert experience and since the begging everyone was very kind and friendly, they advice us the best spot to see the sunset and get amazing pictures, the tents and rooms are exactly as in the pictures and you can see all the desert from your room. The next day we went with them for a 4 hours tour and abdalkader and his son were amazing, they stopped in every place we wanted to take pictures or to have more information and even they explained us more about the culture and the mountains. Definitely I will recommend them to all my friends and visit them again in my next visit to Jordan.

The camp was absolutely stunning. It is a quiet place, the rooms have a great view, the bathrooms are big. Breakfast and dinner were so good and authentic. One of the Mums is cooking it and you can taste that! One of the best foods I had in Jordan. But the best thing is is hospitality of the people running the place. They really care about the guests and that the guests have a good experience. If you want to have a good adventure get a pick up from the visitor centre - the driving skills are crazy good and soon you will find yourself in the back of a pickup drifting in the sand and sliding down sand dunes.

The shower doesn't have too much waterflow. But we understand it's in the middle of the desert. There's no other thing.

The camp is small and quiet, is the perfect place to disconnect in the desert. Jaleel and Mahmud we super kind with us and super friendly. It was a pleasure to have stayed with them. They took super good care of us. It's a experience we will remember. Food is super good and generous. After dinner they made a fireplace to have some tea and talk with us. We took the 4h Jeep tour and we had an amazing experience. We are still in touch with them.

It was wonderful! Because of the beautiful views from the room I really felt like I was a part of the dessert! Everything was great! The rooms are spacious and the view is breathtaking! Staff is very friendly and always there to help. We were welcomed with bedouin tea, we sat by the fire and listened to one of the bedouins playing tradional songs, they made a shisha and showed us their traditional dance, it was a fun and very different (in a good way) experience. We were served a very delicious traditional dinner, brought by the chef, freshly cooked ( plus breakfast). If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, this is it, I highly recommend this camp!

We spent a wonderful night at the Rum desert island camp. All the furniture was brand new, clean beds, fresh sheets, warm blankets and private bathroom. Through a huge wall-to-wall window, you can watch the stars at night or admire the dunes during the day. We found the camp without any problems, as the owner met us from the bus stop and took us to the place. The staff was very friendly, bottled water, soda, tea, coffee are always available for guests for free. The level of service exceeded my expectations. At camp you can take a jeep tour of the desert for the reasonable price.
