No public bath. No real lobby to sit in. It’s a bit far away from the action for tourists. Perhaps better suitable for people on business trips

    Nothing to mention

Location was great, in a very quite and elegant area and close to the Metro station. Rooms are of a good size considering the standard of Tokyo. Very good breakfast at the Hearth restaurant. Hotel very clean.

When we was staying there, it was being cleaned once a day which felt like a little over the top, but I did see that in April they were reducing it, so I'm sure it's even better now!

The hotel room was so clean and was nice and roomy, the bathroom was really nice too. The whole hotel was clean and well kept. The staff was great and even understood our broken Japanese, and were happy to help.

Breakfast was ok but there could have been more choice and gone on for longer than 10:00. Some people like sleeping longer on holidays…

Very clean, modern and well-equipped with amenities and comfort. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Nothing bad to say, we had a great stay!

We liked everything, the bed was comfy, good AC, view, really nice bathroom. It's not a super spacious room but we knew that before booking. Be aware the location of the hotel is not really in the heart of bustling Shinjuku, but more a hotel and shopping center. We stayed at the Prince Shinjuku earlier in the trip and you get that downtown crazy busy Shinjuku right outside the hotel, while this was a lot more relaxed, but a longer walk to things. I would stay here again though!

Like most sensibly priced hotel rooms in Tokyo the room was small with the double bed up against one wall.

Quiet location just 10mins walk from the metro. Helpful staff, clean well serviced rooms and good breakfast. The in house 24hr convenience store was an unexpected bonus. The unusual looking shower/bathroom turned out to be very functional.

The rooms are a little smaller than what we are used to in Canada/America but not a deal breaker.

The hotel is in a great location that is accessible through train or bus via 5-10min walk. The transit system is top notch and we were always a few minutes away from downtown shinjuku or shibuya. Great spot.

Daiwa Roynet is a perfect place for a solo traveller who wants to be close to the busy scenes of Tokyo. It is comfortable, nice and tody, and the crew was really helpful with everything. The hotel also has a really nice restaurant! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Although the breakfast choices and taste were very good, the facility was too small for the number of guests. Even at 7am (earlier than peak time), each there was a delay while we waited for a table, in addition to the long line for the coffee machine.

Great location and reasonable price. Very good breakfast

The hotel was amazing, amenities, sizing, and the food at the breakfast was really nice too. We were a bit worried about having two large luggages and two small ones but the room accommodated everything really well. Love the fact that we got complimentary goods at the lobby for skincare/tea/coffee. The staff were really accommodating as well and helped us transfer our luggage super smoothly to the next location. Would definitely stay here again!

Wish the blackout curtains made the room truly blacked out (some light peaked out through edges). Can’t be changed and not a real complaint, but I wish it were a little closer to a station. It’s not far when you’re going out for day-to-day, just seems farther when you’ve got a heavy suitcase. Since the hotel has a restaurant and café, it would be nice to have an agreed to discount for guests.

Friendly staff Nice soaking tub Lovely scented bath products Complimentary bath salts, capsules, mouthwash, ear plugs, face wash (2-step: oil and cleanser), toner, moisturizer, hair ties, etc. Big, comfortable bed, Multiple light sources controllable from bed or wall switches Free rentals for an assortment of items (iron/ironing board, power converters/adapters, curling iron, and more) Convenience store (conbini) in basement Doorbell and light system that lets housekeeping staff know their is a guest inside (due to dead bolt being engaged) Electronic bidet with soft-close lid

A little bit of a walk away from the heart of the action in Shinjuku, but quiet and peaceful at night. Room on the smaller side, but common for the area.
