How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Hooks to hang clothes, towels would be good in bathroom.
Bedd are firm and comfortable. Water pressure good. Place is clean. Walking distance to Asahibashi station. Smooth check-in via machine.

the pillow is too flat and the staff cannot provide additional pillows. the room lack of shelves/storage space to put clothes and personal items. no hooks to hang towels.
other than that, everything else is great.

Need more hooks in toilet and bathroom.
Very convenient location, just opposite the bus terminal and within walking distance to Asahibashi, Kokusai-dori and Makishi Public Market. The room has everything we need and the staff was helpful and responded very quickly through Booking.com when we had some issues during our stay.

The written guidance and manual documents file in the room don't have any English version for microwave, laundry machine and dryer, which is a huge downside, at least they should put a statement saying please refer to the online English guide in the email. Also, there is no laundry detergent or powder provided as the hotel says consumables are not included for the stay. It would better if they have provided because they have given other consumables such as toiltries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, slippers, toothbrush etc), that is a bit weird. Maybe they should notify the customers in the chat in advance, that there is no laundry detergent provdied so that people can plan ahead, instead of going up to the place and just about to start the laundry, then find out they have to go downstairs to conveinece stores getting the detergent.
The room is new, modern designed, quiet and clean, and also equipped with laundry machine and dryer which works well, there is even small drying rack and clothing dehumidifier that is a plus for the stay in this room. The self check-in process is straight-forward and quick. There are also 7-11 and Lawson nearby, only 3-4mins walk.

More shelves would be nice. More detailed info about getting to the hotel from the monorail station - could have used the sky bridge almost all the way.
The staff were great in answering questions although we never met any staff! The auto check in was great and it was easy to go in and out with passcodes. The room was small but well designed. The kitchen was small but it had everything we needed. The location was very good as it was close to the main shopping street, and it has convenient stores just around the corner.

We found out that we could walk from the monorail station to the hotel using a covered corridor. It would be good to have this instruction/direction/map from the hotel before arriving.
The check-in without a person was fast and efficient. The location is great - walking distance to the beach and shopping areas, with Lawson and 7-eleven convenient shop nearby. The room was not spacious but well designed to accomodate baggages and have everything we needed.

There is no housekeeping. We would like to return the dirty towels to the staff but they said they cannot collect it. The room is a little bit packed and we can hardly open our luggage at the same time. It will be great if there are more lights in the room.
Good location, the room is clean and it provided what we need. It was a comfortable stay. The room is opened by a password and we do not need to carry any keys.

At check-in a receipt didn’t dispense. We stayed large triple room. Space was little small for three people. If there was a drawer chest or wagon to store clothes and toiletries would have been nice.
The facility was right next to the Naha Bus Terminal (BT). We bought 3-day all you can ride local bus passes and it was very convenient to go anywhere.

The sound insulation of the room is too poor. The sound of doors closing in other rooms on the same floor is very obvious. The sound of walking upstairs at AM2:15 is as loud as drums. The noise of item dropping, drag tables and chairs from upstairs, and the noise of water pipes. this room make me unable to sleep, and the house administrator just told me they have send the warning email, it is not help at all.
