We had three persons, the beds were really comfortable however the third person's bed was just a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not too comfortable.

Staff were really kind, location was good with shops downstairs and shinkansen station a short walk away. Room was comfortable.

Shin-Hakodate station is in the middle of nowhere, so if you get there late, don’t expect to find a place to eat, etc. Hotel has a restaurant which closes 9:30. They do have some instant noodles available which saved us 🤷‍♀️

Perfect for a stop over between trains to/from Hokkaido visit. We stayed both ways and didn’t disappointed. Next to the station and they are super relaxed if you need to leave luggage. Clean, comfortable, staff super nice and helpful, Onsen is a plus!

When I arrived at like 1:30 p.m. they refused to do the checkin untill 3 p.m, I reserved 3 rooms, I asked them even if they offer only one room to keep all the luggage in and praying and relax at our privacy toilet but sadly they said all the rooms are not ready but if you pay extra charge it is possible!!! (how that comes - room is ready or not ready) it depends on mony!!!!!

Bedding was a bit too soft

Staff was nice to give a slightly early check in which was much appreciated. Hotel also has onsen facilities which was a good bonus! Good breakfast spread, mainly Japanese options and was very delicious! Close proximity to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station to catch the shinkansen. Also saw a stretch of sakura trees from our room too!

We've stayed here a few times enroute between Hokkaido and Honshu, as it's so convenient right next to the train station. It is a lovely modern hotel that's well priced and has a great breakfast.

Very practical if you have an early train to catch like us! Clean, comfortable, good value. Not much around so don’t expect much but the restaurant inside was delicious, good ramen!! And very friendly cook

It was a clean and very decent place to stay overnight for a transit. Location is very near to shin hakodate station. Not recommended for longstay as theres nothing to do or see. I checked in late at 10pm and everything had closed already so it was really hard to find dinner. Fortunately, the front desk sells instant foods and snacks near its counter so i could survive with noodle cup. But overall was a good experience. I was lucky as i stayed in room overlooking the sunrise so i woke up a beautiful view ☺️☺️☺️

The pillows are too soft otherwise even with four westerners and big bags each, we fitted - just.

The room is new, comfortable and clean, staff are fabulous but the breakfast was amazing, better than the 5 star resort we just left.

Front desk male staff was unhelpful, bordering on being rude. Asked for help to call a restaurant to make reservations as we had difficulty making the reservations online as we don’t speak or read Japanese. The staff not only bluntly refused us using a translation app and when we turned to leave the reception, we heard him laughing with his colleague as though asking him to help us make a restaurant reservation was ridiculous.

Went to wrong hotel in Hakodate, 20 min away, as it has almost the same name (Hotel Dagent) but ours was at Shin-Hakodate. Not too many nearby restaurants.
