My niece wish there was a gym. But walking around the local neighbour and exploring is a better way work out.

The check in was quick and seamless. We booked 4 rooms. The rooms were all every nice and clean. The hotel is very quiet. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to central Ginza. They happily storing our luggage as we are heading down to Osaka and then retuning to stay at the hotel for another week.

We arrived fairly late and upon entering the room found it absolutely stifling hot as no air-conditioning was on. We managed to turn it on, but as it was all in Japanese we had to guess what the buttons meant. This resulted in an extremely uncomfortably hot first night. The next day a staff member quickly and easily changed the settings to English and changed it to the correct settings for cooling. This problem could easily be fixed by changing the language settings according to the guest you are expecting, before they arrive. Or have instructions on how to do this next to the control panel.

Clean and functional. Great having two pillows very different from each other to choose from.

It was hotter than lava. The air conditioning was hard to understand. They gave me pictorial instructions, but only when I asked for them. It wasn’t necessarily a language issue, the thermostat wasn’t intuitive. I don’t expect things to be in English, but the fact that they created the pictorial instructions led me to believe this was a common problem.

I stayed here (& other Sunroute chain hotels) about 6 years on last visit to Japan. But now, it is looking a bit tired & shabby. Dirty carpets, wallpaper coming off walls, shampoo bottles label worn off.

Great location, walk to Ginza line, and 5 min taxi ride to Tokyo Station for shinkansen etc. Little restaurant in lobby does great breakfast.

The room was quite tiny but we already expected that. We only stayed here overnight before travelling to Kyoto. We only had 2 carry-on suitcases with us and even with only these, there was barely any space to place them. I can’t imagine having a bigger suitcase in there.

The location is good - reasonably close to Tokyo station. Although that really depends which side of Tokyo station you need to be since the station is quite big. The time it needs to get there would definitely vary. There are restaurants and convenience stores neaby so that was a plus.

The Breakfast was quite limited, didnt really have much of choice to choose from which was a bit disappointing.

The location of the hotel is central and you can easily walk around and discover the high end shopping streets on your own, plus the Tokyo Subway station is less than 5 mins away which was very helpful for us. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean.

The double room was smaller than most hotels’ (double) rooms. Hardly any space left to move about if guest has more than one piece of luggage.

Super close to many subway lines, which was very convenient! In the upscale neighborhood so very quiet and safe streets, much like the rest of Japan. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
