The staff was wonderful. Treated me like a special guest and friend they’ve known for years even though it was my first visit. The hotel service areas and guest rooms were exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The location was easy to get to from the local train station and the views of the lake were perfect for relaxing and watching the evening fireworks.

The staff gave us wrong information about firework show due to their English may not communicate too good.

Excellent location to see fireworks at night, it has open Onsen on roof top that you can enjoy the fireworks directly in open air. Amazing experience.

Thank you for offering additional personal dishes on our 2nd night. But I think it will be good to check before serving to ensure no food wastage as we do not eat sashimi and half cooked beef

Nicely furnished rooms. the view facing the lake is great. convenient location just right beside the lake. Delicious breakfast and dinner. The onsen is awesome, lots of different pools, and also there is a mist sauna.

There was a smell in our toilet. Onsen was so so to us as we just came from dai-ichi hotel which has the best onsen.

Some parts of the onsen pools seems to have some dark stains. These might be due to the mineral build up?

The open air onsen boosts a good view of the Lake Toya. Both dinner and breakfast buffets have a good variety of dishes. Rooms are clean and spacious.

We didn't realize the room would have no air conditioning. But the fan that a housekeeper quickly brought to our room was a considerable help.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were phenomenal! There were so many mouth-watering and attractively prepared dishes to taste and turn into fully satisfying meals. The views from our 8th floor room were stunning at all times, especially upon check in during the midafternoon, after dinner with the fireworks show on the lake, and during the early morning as the sun slowly broke through the dark skies and glowed above the horizon. The room was spacious and comfortable with so much closet space and drawers. We appreciated the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel and its surroundings. It was an antidote to the fast paced city lifestyle. The front desk staff was extraordinarily patient in explaining the best way to travel from Lake Toya to Hakodate. We were able to get to our destination easily with their clear explanations (and backed up with instructions written in Japanese in case we needed them).

The hotel is pretty large and it caters to tour groups, so it can get very crowded and noisy if you didn't book the club wing. Dining area can get very busy and some of the dishes would run out and you need to wait for them to be replenished.

The hotel room and lobby had an amazing view of the lake and Mount Yotei, I could not bear to leave. We booked the club room which came with a private onsen, the room was clean and modern, there was an executive lounge where you could enjoy some snacks and drinks in peace.

The food are very delicious 😋. Both dinner and breakfast. Hotel room are very spacious. From the room facing the lake I can see the fire works awesome. The staff here are amazing and helpful.

Buffet dinner was excellent with best beef I ever eaten, onsen was very good. Hotel provided free shuttle service from Sapporo station and back.

4th floor is balcony room but you can’t see immediately below you because there is a large roof. As a result, you can’t see the lake edge. Get higher floor rooms if you want a better view.

Private onsen for JPY3300 (first come first served) is a superb deal and highly recommended. Public onsen are not bad either. Excellent choice of food at the buffet. Great view of Lake Toya, good for walks.
