Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe accommodation is centrally located and secure. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and always available to make sure we enjoyed our stay, they also went above and beyond to make my birthday special. The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast and dinner was okay, vegetarian options could be better. Strong WiFi throughout. Grateful for a lovely stay. Highly recommend

NigeriaThe property has no elevators. So it would be great if they had porters around to help with luggage. The stairs are not so bad though, we had no trouble at all.
Clean, comfortable, great food, very friendly staff. In a very safe area. The hotel is close to most things you’d want to do in Nairobi, while still being quiet and peaceful. They arranged a great Nairobi park day trip for us through Marble tours (ask for Mr Kamwaro David, he’s great!).

JapanWe had difficulty communicating with the staff because the room phone was not functional. They said they were working on it, so perhaps the situation has improved. We also had issues during check in when my partner was locked out, but the manager explained and apologized for the mistake. One thing to consider is that the hotel does not have an elevator (at least where we stayed). So if you have any health/physical issues that may require the use of an elevator, you may consider requesting for a room in the lower floors. Honestly, I thought the price was a little too high for the class of the hotel.
The facility is apartment-style hotel located in a relatively secure part of Nairobi, so we could take a walk even at night without any incidences. It is still pretty new, with top-notch fittings and in-room amenities. Two huge TV screens with Netflix in the bedroom and sitting room, VERY comfortable bed, and highly relaxing bathroom. BREAKFAST was my favorite. It was prepared with love by Mr Joseph (sorry if I got the name wrong). He was such amazing person. Generally, staff were kind and accommodating. They made extra efforts to accommodate our requests. I loved the shower! Perfect temperature and pressure (although sometimes it took time to warm up). I enjoyed the sauna too, which was superb and I would recommend it. In short, the hotel has invested in COMFORT and decency. If these are what you are looking for, then this could be the right place for you.

Hello
United StatesVery minor, but it takes the water a few minutes to warm and get hot. TIP: start running the shower about 4 minutes before you are ready to get in it. There is no mirror in the gym. Please consider adding mirrors as they are beneficial for checking form while lifting weights.
I recently stayed at Saggys for 5 nights for the beginning of my month long birthday vacation in Kenya. The staff and their customer service was superb! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and clean. There is a stove, microwave, mini fridge and kettle to make hot water for coffee & tea which was provided daily. Water was also provided in the room with other snacks and drinks for purchase. All of the linen and towels are beautifully embroidered with the Saggys logo. Comfortable robe and slippers were provided for my stay. There was an ironing board in the closet. No iron. When I needed to iron I requested one from the front desk and someone brought one to my suite. Saggy branded umbrellas came in handy. They were available for my use. The food was delicious. The dishes were served with much thought and care with nice presentation. If you like or love coffee Saggys will be a dream for you. They have espresso makers and make wonderful coffee and coffee drinks. Note: the coffee provided in the room is instant so go to the restaurant for the good stuff. No pots and pans for cooking nor dishwashing liquid and sponge for cleaning. My used dishes were replaced in the cupboards with clean ones by the housekeepers everyday during my room cleanings. My Amenities were restocked everyday. There is a little bit of traffic noise from the street, but the hotel and neighborhood that it is in is relatively quiet. The gym is not extensive. It covers the basics with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, resistance bands, towels, tv and water. Saggys is not in an area where you can walk to nearby sights. Rideshare, taxi or public transportation is needed. The day of my birthday every staff member that I came in contact with wished me a happy birthday. I was surprised that everyone knew that it was my birthday. That evening I received juice, cake and the happy birthday song. So many of the Saggy staff came to celebrate me.

RomaniaI have stayed hundreds of hotels from many countries across different continents. This was by far the worst one. The experience pushed me to write this review, which I almost never spend my time to write review about hotels. But this was a must: 1. Room windows do not seal completely. Noise and breeze during the night easily enter in the room. 2. Restaurant extremely slow. I had to wait for a meal (dinner and breakfast, same) for 1.5-2 hours. 3. The staff does not know properly about the full board/half board menu options. They tried to charge us for meals which were already included in our package. 4. They are providing a menu for meals. However, almost all the time, for a week, 80% of the items on the menu were unavailable. For example, I ordered 3 items. The staff were coming to me saying the first item is not available. 30 minutes later, they were saying second item is also unavailable. And the cycle goes on and on… Overall, you are waiting for 2 hours, completely hungry, for a simple meal. 5. During checkout, reception tried to charge us twice for the extras. The amount of time to solve the problem was almost going to cost us our flight. 6. For an entire day, room had no hot water. We reported the problem to reception. After waiting hours, with false promises that “they have fixed the problem and hot water will come in 30 minutes”, we remained with cold water. They absolutely did not care.
Rooms are big and overall comfortable. Bathroom is clean.

Irelandfood service was a little slow, although when it did arrive it was delicious.
The room was lovely, very clean and modern. There was a living room space and TV provided. This was very welcomed after our few days of being on the road. shower had great pressure and we were never stuck for hot water. But to top it all off the staff were so welcoming, they even surprised us with cake and wine as it was my birthday. we used the gym and the pool the next day before checking out, our train wasn’t until 3pm but they kindly allowed us to keep our stuff in the room and shower after, so accommodating. Best Cappuccino I had during my 2 weeks in Kenya
