Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful apartment right on the beach with lovely furnishings & friendly attentive staff that made my stay enjoyable and comfortable The location is perfect with a gorgeous sandy quiet beach right in front of the apartment and 3 large swimming pools on the complex itself The Hacye Residence was decorated to a high standard and the attention to detail was something that really added to the enjoyment of my stay One of the best things about my experience was Huran who made a point of checking in with my daily to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was comfortable alongside giving me advice and guidance for what to do in the local area so I could make the most of my time My stay even had to be cut short due to unforseen circumstances and Huran was so accommodating offering to book me in again at a later date so I could enjoy the days that I would be missing All in all I would highly recommend the Hayce Residence as its heads and shoulders above anything else in the area

Worthwhile experience! Great Hosts, exceptional service in provision of ammenities and essentials, 5-Star treatment from staff and awesome Menu from the in-house Chef. We enjoyed our stay in every way, a worthy get-away from the city for anyone who needs a place to forget themselves and recharge..the attention to details of the facility makes it more homely and we look forward to being back soonest! Our stay at the Hayce Residence was simply amazing, the location is very very good for just chilling and unwinding...oh the breeze from the ocean and the views..I can write a whole paragraph...Loyce and Harun are rhe best hosts we have come across so far..they took very good care of us despite them not being in the country they called everyday to check up on us....organized someone to cook for us at no extra fee and transfers to and from the station ...this is akin to staying in a hotel only that you have the whole place to yourself...cleanliness was exceptional by Erick..such a bubbly and lovely fellow...we will definitely be back!

KenyaThere’s no hot shower, almost every day we experienced no lights and when there are no lights, there’s no shower. So yeah! You can imagine how the living situation is overthere! This would be a good place for short stay and not long stay. All our shopping got spoiled in the fridge cause almost every day no lights and the moment we call the guy who was left in charge by the name Eric he would lie to us he already bought the generator.
The only thing I liked about the place was how it was furnished, swimming pool and the beach
